Great location close to the train station, nice staff, very clean and quiet room.

Kochi Pacific Hotel is in a convenient location close to the train station as well as the main shopping and dining area. We stayed in the Japanese style room, which was comfortable and relatively spacious. (A nice touch is the small private Japanese garden that substitutes for an external view from the room.) Staff do not speak much English, but are very patient with attempts to communicate in poor Japanese (switching to mobile translation tools for more complicated issues), and are overall very helpful.

We arrived less than an hour before check in time, but were required to wait for check in until the exact specified time, without any attempt to check whether the room had already been cleaned. A little more flexibility would have considerably simplified our itinerary for the afternoon. We were also charged JPY 200 to leave a vehicle in the parking lot 40 minutes before check in time; thel amount is trivial, but insisting on the charge seemed a bit petty.

It was summer season when we booked. The room AC is placed in the toilet hallway making the room not cold enough to our liking. Especially in the bed area, the cold air does not reach the bed area that much cause of maybe AC position. It also does not swing. So cold air just goes in one direction. The lowest temp is 20 degrees Celsius but it does not feel like it. Feels like it is 26 degrees and its not that comfortable to sleep.The hallway leading to the rooms has a weird smell and also too hot when you walk. When you enter/ get off the elevator you can feel the difference in temperature cause the elevator is colder. Which is kinda disappointing..Mini fridge does cool your drinks it does nothing, its useless.

Great spot very close to the station. Breakfast was varied and yummy. Fun town to explore and easy to do from this hotel. Lots of places close by for dinner options.

food service in the lobby has very limited service hour. so vending machine is it. The hotel charged up 1000 yen for a room card that is split when returned. We don't know how it got split but surprised we had to pay for the damage - we didnt check if the card had a crack when we were given them. WHo would think of that?

very close to the main station! 1 convenience store across the street and also another one on the same block. All the staff were super nice and helpful. Great for the value especially with breakfast included.Even the people at the restaurant was super friendly and nice. The meal was simple but really helpful to have at the hotel especially when you need to go for an optional tour and taking bus etc early in the morning.

I believe this facility is not so new and I should not expect too much. Found some moldy spots in the bathroom and sink area, also very dusty area around sink. Disposable slippers were super thin and easily break but the other type of slippers were so slippery that me and my mother could almost fall with or without socks. Not our favorite part…

Fantastic and friendly staff! Room was spacious and clean. Right by JR station and tram stops - short walk to many resturants as well.

Bathroom was a little small but totally manageable. You need to leave your car keys with the staff so they can move it if required.

Very nice and convenient hotel located very close to the Kochi main train station. The rooms and services were very good, and the staff was helpful. Nice breakfast area with a good and tasteful breakfast.

The hotel lobby had a café, but it was rarely open, and only open at seemingly irregular intervals. It was not a big issue, but it would have been nice to have it being open more often and at more regular times.

Carpark just next to lobby. Convenient store next to hotel. Walking distance to Hirome Market where you can enjoy the food with locals.
