Well the air conditioning broke down, so the room was uncomfortably hot. However the staff were excellent, and I particularly wnat to thank the female staff member who organised for me to stay at another hotel. Thank you.

Great location, walking distance to main shopping district, Kochi castle and buses and trams right outside your door.
Small rooms, but normal for Japan hotels. With 4 tatami mats on the floor we had no room to walk around without jumping on the beds. There was also a smell outside in the corridor that seeped into the rooms making it uncomfortable while waiting for fans to clear out the smell.
Location, great breakfast set. Very polite staff.
Very old furniture and equipment including bathroom. There was dust in the room and mold on the bathroom ceiling.
