Driving off can be a bit dangerous. Road in front of the hotel was very busy, but hotel fences blocked the views of oncoming traffic.

All the facilities are exceptional - free drink corner, yukatas are gorgeous 2 type for men and 4/5 for women.The public onsen bath is amazing, with excellent view toward the Miyajima island, good for welcoming the sunrise!Rooms are spacious, the only downside is the bath does not have a bathtub, but it's also quite small shower room.

The bathroom was very loud and awkward. Also driving out of the parking lot was very difficult as the road is a main highway.

This is a beautiful hotel in a beautiful location. The hotel is well appointed and the staff were great. The breakfast buffet is incredible and very delicious. This was a great stay!

Breakfast and Dinner is good but I expected more in terms of variety thus slightly disappointed. There are free coffee/tea, juice, beer, soft drink where you can enjoy. Bath is good too and they have a lot of amenities for you to use.

Let's be honest, there is nothing to do in miyajima-guchi except going to miyajima island, it is in the name. For a one day trip this hotel is absolutely worth it with the free deserts and drinks, beautiful views and Yokata borrowing experience, the downsides are: no onsen was hot (although they were beautiful) they do not allow you to use any hotel facilities (onsen and bike borrowing) after checkout.

We arrived mid-evening along with my Japanese friend. Upon arrival we were told meals needed to be booked 2 days in advance - somewhat unfortunate as we were only there for 2 days! I looked back on the listing and this was not stated. My friend was quite distressed by this and I was not thrilled when we ended up at nearby McDonalds!!! Fortunately we had booked a bed and breakfast option avoiding the stress of finding breakfast too. Breakfast was a buffet and we had a wide choice of food, starting with a bento box and choices as varied as chicken supreme, ice cream, soup, rice and eggs. We enjoyed breakfast but it was more like a lunch for us! The quality was very good. There was a free drinks bar for soft drinks, tea and coffee. Kimonos to choose from for use in the hotel and of course the onsen. We braved the naked bathing and actually it was fine and we returned the following evening. The hotel was clean, our room with a view of the water was comfortable and had ample seating for the family to gather together. Arriving ahead of time we made the queue for the complimentary shuttle to the station - it was popular! We warmed up to this hotel but would say that it is not particularly geared up to western travellers ( not that they should have to be) but signage was in Japanese only with many staff not speaking any English though one did whip out a translation app. I was grateful to be travelling with a Japanese speaker and grown up children who were tech savvy. Would I return? Yes but partly because I now understand how the hotel works and I would book my meals ahead pretty confident that they would be good having already had breakfast there.

Highly recommend a stay here for access to Miyajima Island and Hiroshima. A particular highlight was this property's onsen baths - not just a lovely experience, but also wonderfully well-supported by staff, with amenities galore (even a shampoo bar!). Beautiful views, doable access thanks to the shuttle to the train station, and spacious rooms. Only wish I could have stayed longer!

An almost perfect stay. The view to Miyajima Island is pretty cool to see when you walk into the lobby. My husband enjoyed the open air onsen and the sauna. Apparently, it has an unobstructed view out to the ocean. I wasn't feeling too great but it looks amazing. The female bathroom has extra security going in and from the outside, there is a privacy hedge. There is also a huge variety of amenities that you receive in both your room and near the onsen entrance.

We just had a problem that in our two night stay, we couldn't visit the hotel restaurant on either night as it was already fully booked when we checked in.

The breakfast was very good, we only ate in the restaurant one night, but it was exceptional. Our room (superior twin with sea view) was a very good size.

The view was beautiful from our room. Loved the kimono robes they give you to wear. The shampoo bar was such a great touch. Everyone was very nice including the restaurant staff. I would stay here again and recommend to others.

Being located across from Miyajima was wonderful; however, there was no clear communication from Booking.com or from the hotel that it was necessary to opt for a meal package. When I booked our 3 rooms, I assumed the bar and restaurant would be available. They were not. There is really no place around there to eat. That was very disappointing. Clear communication is ALWAYS the key!
