Global Resort Miyajima View

Location has a view on the sea, tho it's not perfect.

Had a little issue where my registered name wouldn't work on the automated check in machine due to foreign letters. There is no staff but calling on the number via the phone beside the machine solved my issue. For future, system could automatically rewrite names to use only english letters.

I did not expect much due to the price. View was nice, the room was completely fine. It was a bit small but it is normal, I did not pay for anything grandiose. Check in was smooth despite no staff. Location is nice.

The view is amazing. The facilities were nice, the room was comfortable, and we had no issues getting around from this location.

Location is a bit rough as there is a commute to the closest restaurants and convenience stores.

Walls are a bit thin. I was worried troubling next door as we kept hearing voices from the other side too.

Reasonable view and relatively close to Miyajimaguchi. Good clean room, comfortable bed, fridge available and clean bathroom.

Access from the station not so great…stairs and rough footpath. Note: no human interaction from the hotel. Machine check in. Was easy to check in. Check out went into error. Thankfully the Japanese man who had the same problem before us helped, which made this easier.

It was clean in common areas.

There is no staff. It is in a rundown areas. Rooms are very small and not very clean. My bedding was dirty but again there is no staff for support.

Loved the view of the room but access to the hotel was very difficult- we had to walk a lot to reach the hotel

During check-in, the staff was available for help on the phone (in English and Japanese). The breakfast provided was ample. The rooms were clean and tidy. All basic amenities were provided. The heating was good, and the blackout curtains were useful since the window faces the East. The mattress and pillows were sufficiently firm. I was grateful for the spare chopsticks in the microwave room, as I had forgotten to bring my own! The drying area was useful after I got wet in the rain. Many hotels don't provide enough hangers and drying racks, so it was nice to have it here. The tram line, which is convenient to go around, is a few minutes walk away.

The location is right next to the highway, and you won't see many people around. It felt a little scary walking back to the hotel at night. The vehicles on the highway could be heard while in the room. However, I was able to focus on my work and sleep well. The kettle had a faint smell of black tea. The bathroom and toilet were on the smaller side, so you may have to be careful moving around.
