    Pros +

    • Hotel is located near bus stop and not far from Hiroshima station.I found the room is suitable for solo traveler and staff is helpful.
    • Price is very good for Japan. Booked 3 single rooms, and slept really well. Location is pretty good though. Just 10 minutes walking distance to the city center.
    • Nice location, okay view from the windows (I’m used to hotels’ windows looking on the wall of another building in Asia). I was surprised it’s not a hostel for this price. A teapot was good to have, also it was good they have tea, lotions and stuff in the lobby. Nice bathroom. They cleaned every day, amazing. The pillow was weird but very comfortable . The staff also provided me the outlet chargers for phone

    Cons -

    • Room is primarily for Chinese tourist. Car park isn't free. And worse of all, the room reeks of smoke smell although I asked for non smoking rooms. Other than that, its okay.
    • I took a smoking room because it was cheaper. It smells, you have to be ready for that. I thought I was ready but I wasn’t. I could feel the smell in my sleep.
    • Hotel is very, very old and outdated. It doesn't look like it's had a refurb in decades. The washing machines look right out of the 90s.No USB charging and power was limited to a power board sitting above my bed.

the only thing we didnt like was how small the space was, not really any room for our suitcase and the bed for 2 people was tiny. The staff was really nice but didnt speak english at all.

    9ThanosPosted on: 1-21-2025

The hotel is in a great location close to the station and the city center! The staff was very hospitable, welcoming and warm! They spoke English, all of them! Many 7/11s and Lawsons nearby. The cleanness was great in all spaces and in my room. The room had a nice size for one person, it was spacious and comfy. The bed was not something great but it was ok for the room's price.

The hotel feels a bit used and old. It is true that WiFi is truly a problem with this hotel...super slow. A bit of modernization and renovation would make it a 100/10. Of course someone who will spend less than a week will not care about all that. Especially for its price range and great hospitality! I would definitely go back if I was ever again in Hiroshima!

It says 2 star hotel but has everything you need. Is clean. People are gentle. We left the sign on the door to not clean the room and they left us s bag with clean towels.

Easy to get to location and the staff were exceptional. Room was plenty big enough as was the bathroom which is always a good sign in a Japanese accomodation.

    8EvelynPosted on: 11-25-2024

    Location was great

No opening windows, the aircon is set to heat so the room was hot and stuffy.

    9MichellePosted on: 11-20-2024

This hotel had everything we expected from it. For Japanese standards the room was relatively spacious. It was very clean and even though I stayed in a smoker room as a non-smoker, the smell was barely noticeable at all!

I did some washing in the laundry machine on 2nd floor and it didn't really get super clean. New washing machines and driers would be a good investment

Really good price/quality. I drove Shimanami Kaido and after that his hotel was perfect: free hot bath, sauna and massage chairs.

Old, dirty, noisy. Avoid at all cost.

Unfortunately one of the last accommodations left due to some national holidays. Looking at the reviews we could already paint a picture that it would not be a great hotel however looking back at the reviews we read, we find them rather mild. It did not prepare us at all for the standard of the rooms in this hotel. Bed is old, there are stains on the wallpaper, it was dusty and smelly. We did not even dare to turn on the AC because it was so gross. You can see thick layers of dust in the air vents of the AC and all the vents in the room & bathroom. The internet was also nonexistent. You cannot even load an instagram real.. lastly the walls are sooooo thin. We could hear on the one side a neighbor taking a bath at 1AM (literally we can hear them turn their body in the water) and on the other side a baby/kid that is crying. You can also hear everyone that walks/enters the hallway. And we only slept 2 nights here (thank god) but for these 2 nights every night there were sirens from police cars in front of the hotel in the middle of the night… very sketchy. The front and entrance of the hotel looks beautiful, does not reflect at all how old, outdated and dirty the rooms are. If we knew this, we would have rather skipped this small 2 day trip to Hiroshima, than stayed at this hotel.

Very nice hotel with great staff, and close to the station, but we can take a tram. One of the best Hiroshima okonomiyaki is near. From the hotel is also not so far to other places in Hiroshima.

    Comfortable, clean and cheap

    9RobertPosted on: 10-6-2024

The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Their English was great. The room was exactly what I want from a hotel. So yes, I liked it all

Maybe I would have stayed an extra night if it was not too costly. The weekend was pretty expensive

The staff was really nice and helpful, but the property is a bit run down. It can use some TLC. The floor we stayed in must have been a smoking floor before. The smell was very obvious once we stepped out of the elevator.

    Location.

Dated, needs new mattresses, air-con hard to regulate.

Good location. In walking distance to many attractions.

    Very old style hotel.
