Regenta Central Amritsar

Excellent staff and hospitality, they helped retrieve a lost phone. They also arranged breakfast when we were late after temple visit. Highly recommend.

The hotel was neat and clean and mid of the city.

The instrument was not working like an intercom, hair dryer. It is a four star property and doesn't have a pool.

I was promised a large bed for my family. Even at reception I was promised a King size bed. In actual there were two single beds and staff converted a lounge into an extra bed.

There was heaps of mould in toilet and shower area curtains and no toilet papers in toilet .

There was disturbance from the adjacent room due a marriage party in the hotel and guests were staying in that room

Didn't have breakfast

Reception staff were speaking in local language and saying I'd married my wife for immigration status. They were surprised and visibly shocked when she corrected them in Punjabi. They thought we didn't speak the language.One of the waiters refused to tell us the total price for the meals. Twinkle was amazing, a jewel in the hotel. Great credit and able to resolve.

Wonderful and very friendly staff who make you feel at home, loved the food too. Quick response to any requests which I believe is worth your money spent

Staff at reception and restaurant both were very nice and helpful. The gentleman at the reception who was in the evening was very helpful and calm.. we were so tired and so he made the check in process smooth.. he advised on where we can eat, places to visit, transportation.. in a nutshell, we are happy with the check in process. Hotel was clean, our rooms were clean, the restaurant on 3rd floor was good.. the food was tasty.. Check out was smooth also. Hotel is 10 mins from Golden temple and 25 to 30 mins to airport..

Breakfast was good, as well the room generally good (but looks a bit old and need maintenance)

Hotel is nice, but the main problem is the staff which doesn't understand English sometimes, and the banquet hall downstairs which had celebrations all day we stayed. The noise from the music was such that the window glass was vibrating and shaking. I couldn't sleep till 1 am because of music. That is frustrating that the hotel doesn't care about their guests and let this happen till late night. Also please tell your staff to call people GUESTS not GORA!

We stayed here on our first night in Amritsar.. and because we loved our stay so much, we returned back a week later and stayed for a further 6 days.. highly recommended for anyone visiting Amritsar and Golden temple. Ambient atmosphere, awesome rooms (Premium rooms are top notch), and all Hotel staff were all helpful, polite and courteous... and the food is outstanding 10/10.. they have employed MasterChefs in their kitchen.. try it for yourself and you will know what i mean!Most places to visit are within close reach, including 5/10 mins away from Golden temple, 20 mins away from Airport and a fantastic shopping mall (Alpha shopping centre), less than 5 mins by rickshaw..Highly recommended! Thank you Regenta Central for your pleasant hospitality!

The Spa facilities need rebuilding.. and a pool table/darts board in the bar area would further enhance a positive/fun experience

Amazing room (Premium room). If visiting with family, I recommend the Premium Connected rooms! Quality finish. Comfy bed and sofa chairs. The food was incredible. Some of the best tasting Indian food I have eaten! The staff were friendly and attentive to needs. The room service was lightening fast!Recommended! I look forward to coming back!

The scent filled hotel has a lovely smell, however the lemon balm smell can be overwhelming at times.

Very helpful and friendly staff. We had issues with our booked tour and the hotel staff helped us figure that out and made our long wait better by bringing us chai. Great food options for breakfast and room service!

The area is not walkable and there can be a lot of traffic around

Staff was good. Facility was nice. Clean and hygienic rooms.

Food was not upto the mark. I ordered pasta and caesar salad. Both were one the sweetened side... .Food was not that good.

Night manager Mr. Navdeep is excellent person.. I could not meet him personally but he has taken care in all aspects. And breakfast buffet was nice.

Restaurant staff were too lazy I guess because at times we have to call 3-4 times for our order and also dinner buffet is waste of money

Staff is good, food quality was excellent, room service

1. The architecture and the ambiance is brilliant. You really feel comfortable and the rooms are of decent size.2. You get almost everything in the room. Cannot say it misses anything.3. Food is served fast and the quality is good. Good quality food served on time.4. The entire hotel is clean and sanitized.5. A dedicated smoking place ensures the hotel rooms are clean from that tar smell.6. The rooms are cleaned regularly even if you are out, which was nice as you come back to a clean and tidy room.

The staff's nature is a bit weird, I have stayed in Hyatt Amritsar, Radisson Blu, and Park Inn and they all made you feel welcomed, however, Regenta Central Amritsar made me feel unwelcomed and appeared to be a bit ill-mannered. Here are a few real scenarios:1. I called in to make a booking, however, was denied, the person who answered said they are fully booked and then I booked it from Booking.com and found that they lied and had rooms available.2. The check-in took longer than expected. Normally it takes 5 minutes, but here they took around 20+ minutes to check me in. Not sure why or what they were doing, but there was a serious delay, which is not a good first impression.3. At checkout, I was asked if I consumed anything from the mini bar, I told them the mini-bar was empty and had nothing in it, and the guy looked at me differently, which was a bit weird. I had ordered food and paid for it at the checkout which was a decent amount, higher than the normal food rate so why would one try to con for a few hundred rupees? So many things wrong here, if the mini-bar is full or not, it is their duty to know and not mine to tell them even the question like that was unprofessional.4. At checkout, you don't just leave, someone goes to your room and checks everything making you feel like a thief. They have your IDs and everything but still, you are not allowed to leave till the staff checks your room for any wrong play. This caused me to run to the airport gates to ensure I didn't miss my flight.5. Every staff will stare at you and make you feel judged, almost like you do not belong. For an introvert like me, this place is really weird and annoying. Please let the guests be guests and do not make them feel like liabilities.

Our stay at Regenta Central was pleasant. The staff was courteous and helpful. We had requested for medicines from a nearby Pharmacy. They delivered it for us. The live music was entertaining. The buffet spread was decent. The staff at restaurant were very nice, especially Dipti.

One of our rooms had no window which made it appear dimly lit and gloomy.
