Hotel Sapphire Opposite Golden Temple

Location was good very near to the Golden Temple.

Amenities provided in the room, even water bottle was given on request. Room is small just nice for 2 person with 2 luggage's...a 3rd luggage would have been fully congested with literally no space to move around.

Hotel location could not be better. Staff were pleasant.

Bed sheets were old.

Best location to visit the Golden Temple. Water temperature was very hot.

The group of Luggage staff was aggressive when not tipped more upon leaving. Upon arrival I gave them 100 rupees to bring my two bags up the stairs to the entrance and they laughed amongst each other. When they brought my bags to my room I tipped them 500 rupees. Balcony wasn’t private or open as thought. It is locked but, has a glass separation to view the view. One of the staff opened for us twice for about 40 minutes. He said no one is allowed because of past guest flying drones and he was doing us a favor by opening it for us. He also brought some guest to the balcony area while we were there. So it is not private. If you book both rooms as we did, you have the space in the glass area but, then they come and go to do maintenance or show the view.

The rooftop terrace is a private area for the room on the 4th floor; others cannot access it except with permission from the staff.

Very polite & helpful staff. Excellent location, just 20m away from the side entrance to Darbar Sahib.

Bathrooms & wardrobe could be cleaner, but it was still pretty decent. Also, check out time is rather early at 11am.

It was a great experience. I would rate 10/10 for location, food and staff.

Firstly, it needs more focus on cleaning and hygiene especially with the bathroom. Secondly, the entrance door along the staff is not within the health and safety standards. Otherwise overall it's a great choice

Top was that it was only few steps away from Darbar Sahib ji ,everything was walking away. Coz it was only one stay still it was very comfortable.

dirty washroom, dirty faucets ,red blanket had white stains and hair left on bed sheets from preivous customer meaning bed sheets were never changed

Loved the location, right across from the Golden Temple. We were able to walk to the temple in minutes. The view from the terrace was spectacular. The staff was helpful.

The beds were very uncomfortable and very congested rooms.

It's not as the pictures show. Pictures are definitely enhanced. Breakfast is served in your room. No table. The shower needs deep cleaning. Black mold. Concierge not the friendliest

Nice hotel - bathroom smelled and not cleaned properliy.

Nothing, the rooms are very small nd conjusted, No proper space in Bathroom.Not even clean, no basic supplies.

The behaviour of Staff…They were not accommodative, very rude and no sense of talking.

Rooms were not value for money. No window in our room. Staff not too hospitable. No good room service. Room cost could easily be below 1800 per night not worth 3K at all.

Getting to the hotel was challenging as Taxi's were not allowed after a certain point.

The staff was helpful, and was responding to our requests with good service.Location is great, just 2 minutes walk from Golden Temple premises.Rooms and linens provided were clean with good view of Golden Temple.There was hot water available in washroom for winter season all day and night.Tea and hot water kettle were provided complimentary with room. RO water tank is available at ground floor for filling up drinking water. Wifi is available.

On the outside, area looks like it might not be the best place to stay. But the Hotel is decent inside.Parking is not available. You need to park in public paid parking for the temple which is 15 minutes walk from the Hotel area.

The room rates were bit high also the staff charged us excessive amount of money for the taxi we booked to reach the station .

The boss and staff are really very good. They able to help if you need any kind of help.The room and washrooom are clean.The hot water is superb. The room is spacious as well. Very near to golden temple. Less than 5 minutes walk. We have stayed here many times and the quality is still there.Highly recommended to couple and family stay.

Location, property is horrible otherwise

This property shouldn’t be on booking.com as it’s a very small dormitory kind with very badly shaped rooms, comforters with spots all around, horrible mattress and pillows.
