Had booked the hotel, considering the proximity to Golden temple and newly built hotel, but the bad experience we had there, has made us think never book the hotel again

We had taken family rooms and room and the washrooms were not clean at all, towels provided were wet, when we asked the reception about it we were told, its winter and cloths do not dry, so the laundry person is not able to provide dry towels, really that made me think, if they were using some dhobi ghat for getting the linen washed, as any standard laundry would have dryer atleast. Breakfast Parathas, poha, Bread Toast and Tea & the end.

The service was very delayed when we asked them to clean our room. There were lots of things which were not given in the room like cattle were missing, bucket for bath is missing dental kit is not available they said we don't keep them , bathroom sleepers was not given and the towel and the bedsheets were torned i am uploading the pictures. There was alot of termite in rooms.

Very well maintained. Value for money. 24hr front desk. Peaceful location.

Instead of individual water heater geyser they had a common water heater on roof top for all the rooms which didn’t not made us have hot water in bathroom when we wanted to take a bath.

The rooms and bathroom were clean

They didn't give us the triple room as booked on Booking.com and we paid 1000rs more than the confirmed price They gave us a normal double room at the price of a triple room

Apart from the location, there was nothing good about this property

The bed and bath linen was dirty, rooms extremely small, staff very complacent. Towels provided were wet!

The stay was really bad with lil to no facilities..There wasn't even proper heating for a cold city..And when asked for it,they said they're sorry they can't do anything about it.The actual hotel is completely different feom the picture portrayed.Very bad,i recommended not to book..The lavatory is really bad,nothing works,atleast well.

Did not like anything about the stay.

The rooms are tiny. The cleanliness was not up to the mark. The toilet seat was not clean, the toilet bowl was not clean, there was water spilled on the bathroom counter top. The soap was left used. The toilet roll was almost empty. The person who carried our bags felt very creepy and insisted on coming into the room to drop the bags. He also kept eyeing my wife, which made her very uncomfortable. The noise from outside was traveling into the room, and the rooms were right next to the lift, which was equally noisy on every door open and close on floors above and below. The location was also not the best, may be good for solo male travelers, but I would not recommend it for women or families as such. We packed our bags and decided not to stay here, the hotel refused to give us all our money back, so we took 50% after arguing for over an hour and went ahead to a better property found through booking.com itself. Booking.com was of no help to retrieve our money back. It is a loss for us, but we are safe and that is what matters.

We booked a cab via the hotel and they sent us a very nice, friendly, helpful and reliable driver!! We were happy to tip him everytime!! Rohan (at the Reception) was also very helpful and always found solutions to any thing we wanted. I had some queries regarding the washroom (before our arrival in Amritsar); Rohan very sweetly took a video of the area so that I got a fair idea of the place!!Breakfast items were limited, but decent. The paranthas and pooris that were freshly made were very good.All the staff took good care of everything!!Sweet people

Booking.com needs to look into their software!! We had applied some filters - especially for a room for the specially abled. This hotel showed up. We went ahead and booked it. But the hotel has ABSOLUTELY NO facilities for the disabled. Not even a single grab bar in the wash room!! This is one thing they could certainly add.

The beds and pillows were comfortable, although there were only 2 pillows per bed.Check in and check out was quick and straightforward.Many mistakes were made, but the manager tried to rectify the issues.The manager asked for a favourable review, but too many mistakes were made so I can only share my honest experience.It is a new hotel, so expect mistakes, they are still inexperienced.

Upon arrival we saw a cockroach come out from underneath the bed. I have never seen a cockroach in real life so had to use Google lens to ID it. Not a great start. I was really scared to sleep the first night. We also didn't eat from the restaurant as I couldn't get the image of cockroaches out of my head.Toilet when flushed, the water gushes out of the toilet bowl. So unhygienic. We figured out the trick was to slightly press the flush and hold it down longer.Hot water was unpredictable. It was either scalding hot or cold.I asked for an iron, they told me another guest has left it in their room and gone to Harmandir Sahib, so I will have to wait till they come back. I sarcastically responded shall I sit in my room all day, till they come back and you can take my kids out to see Amritsar, to which they responded they will try to do something and get me an iron. I got an iron in the end and returned it to reception after using it on both days that I was there.Each guest room is supposed to have a hairdryer. It does not. When I requested one from reception, they told me they don't have one as it's broken. I had to go down to reception and explain they have listed it as an item on Booking.com and I needed to dry my hair before bed. They finally went out to the market and bought a brand new one.I also asked for extra pillows, which initially they seemed reluctant to give. Eventually they gave two extra pillows which were clearly used previously. I had to go downstairs and give them back. They did give brand new pillows with brand new pillow covers, but it shouldn't really have come to this.The curtains do not cover the whole window, so privacy is compromised at night.The hotel location doesn't look nice at all, you're greeted by wild dogs and a broken road.Uber drivers also find it hard to locate the hotel, you need to mention TownHouse Hotel and then instruct them to drive down the broken road.

A wonderful stay indeed. The staff was very welcoming and warm, they constantly checked if we were comfortable, if we needed anything. The room was very spacious, very clean and the room service was extremely commendable.The food was good, the location was perfect- just 10 mins from the Golden Temple.
