Hotel The Orchid Tree

Owner was very humble and provided us room service and arranged for drinks and food.

There was no chair in the room and owner unfounded us that as they are in process of renovating and it's a newly built hotel that's why our room was not having chair but other rooms they have and they will take care of it.

The hotel is in a prime location of the city. You can walk to Golden Temple. The rooms are neat and clean with all facilities. We had a great stay. The staff is also helpful. They helped us hire a car for sightseeing too.

Room was very nice and properly maintained with cleanliness and hygiene. Also, a very affordable stay in terms of price and within the tourist places radius and on the main road as well.

Very friendly, polite and flexible staff. I was unwell whilst there and the staff offered a late checkout for no extra cost. They also helped us book a cab to the station. Would highly recommend this place.

The first room we got wasn't probably cleaned, I don't think I can describe the bathroom condition without booking.com blocking the review. After we complained we got a different room. Overall it was okayish, Would not stay there again.

Neat and clean

Staff was very rude and impolite.He was shouting on us when we asked for parking.And no parking space is there.

The location of the hotel, the cleanliness of the room and bathroom and helpfulness of the staff merit appreciation. Golden temple is about a 10 mins walk and that too from the direction of Partition museum. Therefore food and shopping are convenient. Since it is located outside the pedestrians only area, one can easily take a cab/rickshaw from the station/airport to the hotel doorstep.

Because it is centrally located, it is not entirely quiet even at night due to the traffic on the main road.

The Hotel is relatively new and still being mordenised. The location is very promising. It's a walkable distance to Golden Temple, Jalianwala and the kapada market( clothes market) The hotel rooms are clean with all basic aminities. A great balance between price and quality. It's great security wise as it's adjacent to a National Bank. The rooms are silent enough to sleep.

Its a place to sleep basically. The infrastructure could be improved. Internet connection was problematic.Heating system for shower may take upto 30 mins before warm water is available. The functioning of TV requires some switches to be turned on which is not intuitive. The fresh towels did not look fresh enough and had to be changed.
