I wouldn't take people there again

The fact that they're not honest. And they were deceitful. House keeping is not doing a good job in keeping the house clean and neat. The place is dirty in hidden corners ?

The room was clean and lovely, the bed was very comfortable.

The access to the property to park behind a locked gate is managed by a guard that has the sole key for the gate. As my work event ran to midnight I arrived back at the property after midnight. The security guard was nowhere in sight and I had to call the after hours contact number at least 3 times for someone to open for me, forcing me to sit at the gate and wait for about 20 mins. I would have preferred to have been supplied with a key to unlock the gate myself, or even better that the gate was automated with an accompanying remote to access the property at all times.

The toilet was not cleaned when we arrived. There were no extra toilet papers. There was no security guard at the gate as indicated. Some of the bedding was not clean. There is no lighting at the gate, when you arrive in the evening, it's too dark. There's no back up power and at least rechargeable lights to use, just small candles which are unsafe. There seems to be miscommunication about payments between the venue and booking.com, we kept receiving calls about payments when we'd already paid and sent proof of payment. There's just poor communication between the main guy we booked with and his stuff given the calls we received throughout our stay regarding payment. The stuff also did not have a spare key to open the house to clean. We had to come back from our event to let them in to clean. There was just too much that could have been avoided. I personally would not return.

Very clean, quiet and the bed is super comfortable. The location is perfect.

The wood floor has a squeaky sound in room 1 when walking towards the shower and toilet.

The place is beautiful and clean. It looks like it did on the website

There was some construction going on so the noise was a bit too much.

Aircon dripped, making everything wet.

The spa staff was good and welcoming.

Found the house smelling dust even the blankets. We wer given dirty towels including the hand cloth used in the kitchen..no any person from managent who was there to welcome us and no person to guide us with all the proceedings like when u need something who to contact,we didnt receive instructions paper including Wi-Fi pin and tv remote..we spent friday night without knowing whom to report too..we were told the person reponsible for guest house will only be around in Monday..so this show that guest are not well taken off.

My dad had an operation in Potchefstroom and had to stay over unexpectedly. I phoned the guesthouse after eight in the evening to arrange accommodation for my elderly parents. They offered to pick my parents up at the hospital and even arranged food for them (at no extra cost). My parents arrived after ten the evening and received a warm welcome, heated food etc. This is exceptional service and I am so grateful for everything you did for my parents. I will DEFINITELY refer people to you. Thank you so so much. Annelie Fouche

Price of room was good.

No iron in room and bathroom doesn't have a door.

The fact that there is a spa which we didn't try due to few discouraging things found in our unit.

The unit looked like they rushed when cleaning it. Finding hair in the shower ? stuck on the wall wasn't pleasant at all...The wifi signal ? wasn't strong enough to connect any of my devices not even their own Smart TV.

The property was easy to find and the staff was helpful and helped us to find a check in to that would work for us.The room was clean and comfortable.We really enjoyed our stay.

There was nothing that we found that we did not like.

Overall the place is amazing and beautiful

The rooms have no aircons or fans. It got extremely hot and uncomfortable to stay inside.Theres no bathroom door, like no privacy at all.

The peacefulness and the set up of the room was beautiful. I was very happy and comfortable.

We booked a specific room (room 6)& when we had arrived for check-in, the guard who assisted us even confirmed that our room was indeed that one. Unfortunately, for some unknown reason, our key was not in the key box & when the guard had called the owner, he said to just give us another room. This was already foreshadowing of the lack of professionalism from the owner. We were also told there was a generator on the property, which was never turned on and this wouldn't have been a problem, if it wasn't for the fact that it was emphasisedThe next morning, waking up to get ready for a wedding (which was the whole reason for our stay) tried to shower & had left the shower running for a good 15 mins to discover there was no hot water. My fiancé tried getting in touch with the owner & he had finally responded, 10 mins before load shedding was meant to end, asking us to give him ten mins. Ten mins later, a generator was put on that only powered the one light in the room, as the plugs were not supported by the generatorMy fiancé once again messaged & he finally phoned & said he is doing whatever he can, & was not sure why the gas geyser & generator did not kick in & kept telling us he was trying to assist us, a good 15 mins after the fact. He kept apologising, which Ofcourse was appreciated but a little too late, given the time & us needing to bring this to his attention He said load shedding is affecting businesses, to which I said then why do you emphasis having a back up genie if you don't check that it works? His response: I don't check every room before each guest arrives or leaves so I didn't know of the problem until you told me.The owner said he would give us a full refund for the one night and we are still waitingAbsolute pity as the property is lovely, but the lack of professionalism is a turn off from the property

How the owner conducts himself and the fact that rooms are not checked, neither are the facilities maintained. Rooms that were selected by guests are not guaranteed

It was unpleasant, i will definitely not recommend the place to anyone.

-We were told we could only use the pool after 6pm as they were busy with "clients" that came to the Spa.-The guesthouse is/ was very aware of the load shedding going on however could not even put candles in the unit.-The braai area was very dirty on Friday night and was later locked, on Saturday night when we called asking about that we were told we were suppose to specify upon booking that we needed the braai area.-Parking is not safe as the gate doesn't lock.-Only 1 bedroom has En-suite, meaning the other 6 people from 3 bedroom share 1 shower and 1 toilet.-Upon arriving there was no one available to welcome us or at least make the check in process a bit smoother, we had to wait over 30min before we could get the keys.-There was no broom or mopThe list continues....

Beautiful room and property. Staff and security were very friendly.

Room was extremely hot and we had to buy a fan as they didn't have an additional fan for our room. Parking was a bit of a problem as well.
