The Oasis

Friendly staff, the location and breakfast exceeded expectations.

Friendly staff and prompt response to any requests.

The breakfast menu needs a shouzh upWarm food especially the vegetables seems like the previous day's dinner leftover ?

Modern, central and a good view of the Orange River. Breakfast was excellent,

The Oasis is centrally located, which made check-in easy and seamless. They requested a copy of my driver's license and verified the booking on Booking.com, and that was it. The breakfast provided was good, served buffet-style, and included options for eggs prepared by the Chef. The check-out process was also easy. We packed the car between the hotel and its neighbouring hotel, and it was safe.

There is a need to upgrade the TV for good quality of those attending business meetings.

Friendly chef and helpful

Dirty, dark, smelly.

Breakfast was delicious, rooms where clean, i loved the view of the prange river from my room

We had excellent buffet breakfast friendly helpful kitchen staff seriously people/client orientated. The reception on Friday was welcoming made us feel at home, helpful and readily available to assist

It's the best keep it up OASIS

Comfortable and more quiet.

Since the restaurant did not operate, we had to use formo packs to serve our meal, it would be better if we had plates and cutlery in the rooms.

Room service available for supper which is very convenient after a hard day of work. Staff very friendly and rooms are super comfortable

Parking in a public area although security was available. It would be an added benefit if the room fridge could include cold bottled water especially in summer

The breakfast was great. but i wish there were more options like pan cakes and chicken.

Fresh bread

Staff went all out to make sure our needs were taken care of. From late check in, late dinner and early breakfast packs which were ready at the agreed time. The facility itself was great value for money. We had a family room for a family of 4.

I was a little uneasy about parking area but I was given all assurances that it was safe.

I liked that the place is nice central and it is nice and clean with friendly staff

Not much not to like. Pretty good for a nights stay

Breakfast was good, staff friendly and helpful, everything was very clean and well kept, hotel had a great central location in the Town, you were close to all the attractions in Upington.

I didn't like our room view, I thought the hotel was quite quite and could have located us with a river view room instead of a street view. I thought they were also missing a bar.

Friendly staff and excellent, varied breakfast. Central location: walking distance from Checkers (supermarket) and other shops, KFC (take-aways), Intercape Bus stop and Zest, Hennie's and the Red Ox Restaurants.

Loose door handle in bathroom. Loose socket plate on one of the wall sockets (plugs). Blown lightbulb (reported, but never replaced) and we arranged breakfast boxes for the last morning, but they were not ready as promised.

The room was very good. Comfortable bed. We had all the amenities we needed. The breakfast was delicious

The rooms were clean and spacious. Breakfast spread was good and included everything

No parking

Thank you for the room upgrade (without additional costs), much appreciated. I've visited the Oasis several times and it just gets better and better with each visit.Friendlies of the front desk and breakfast personnel top of the range, keep it up ladies and gents, we see your efforts and it is much appreciated?.

Loved staying at this gem. Enjoyed our anniversary. Just love this place especially the suites. Have been enjoying this place every time I visit Upington

Challenge is the parking space, driving to Protea parking and walking back to the hotel.

Staff friendly at reception

Not secure parking, broken chair outside right in front of entrance. Refreshments have to be ordered from another hotel. Still have not received invoice! Not a 4 star in my opinion.

The hotel is well situated in the centre of town and they provide a full breakfast.

The bathroom sliding door was stuck open
