    Pros +

    • Helpful staff, quiet, clean, good restaurant.
    • A very big but we'll kept, well designed and we'll staffed place to stay. Everyone from the receptionist, hotel staff and restaurant staff were very helpful and obliging. It is also away from the busy streets of al the bazaar so you can have a quiet place to rest.
    • Great hotel, nice AC, good bathroom. The bed was comfy. I can recommend it!

    Cons -

    • The only thing is was that we had to take rickshaw to go to various markets but not in negative way. It was a relief to find quiet streets once you walk out of the hotel
    • The only downside was the room size, which felt a bit small. However, the overall experience was still quite good.
    • The staff - is very inhospitable; right from check in they were very hostile and had the wrong attitude. My check in was at noon, my room was not ready till 2pm. The staff behaves differently towards Indian tourists v white tourists ( white tourists get more attention and politeness). I had asked for toiletries to refilled on the first day but they were never refilled.

I had a very pleasant stay at Arya Niwas in Jaipur. One of the highlights was the breakfast – it was fresh, tasty, and had a good variety, making mornings enjoyable. The hotel ambience is calm and welcoming, with a traditional yet comfortable feel. The garden area is beautifully maintained and provides a peaceful space to relax after a day of sightseeing. The facilities are well-organized, clean, and suitable for both short and long stays. Everything felt thoughtfully arranged for guest comfort. Another big plus is the location – it’s convenient for visiting major attractions, shopping areas, and restaurants in Jaipur.Overall, Arya Niwas offers a great combination of comfort, greenery, good food, and a prime location. I would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Jaipur.

The only downside was the room size, which felt a bit small. However, the overall experience was still quite good.

I like the restaurant and the room is clean and they help you understand how to do the TV. In my price range, it's the only hotel in all of my trips to India that automatically has BBC and CNN International. It's a really comfortable place and I don't mind sleeping in a firm twin bed in the small room.

This place differs from other hotels where we stayed in India by real hotel vibe in provided service. They tought about details and guest entertainment like meditation/music, dance/concert in evening, vegitarian restaurant downstairs and some shops. Loved the shop where I can get everything starting from hygienic products till bags, scarfs and dresses with fixed price - very very good price for a hotel.

The place is a taste of hertiage itself. A renovated heritage mansion building, the rooms, the atmosphere, the staff, the service is impeccable! Every corridor, lounges, cafe, garden and the rooms were very aesthetically decorated with local culture, I was so inspired by it. They have cab services, spa, lounge with library, daily activities, garden with live music from local artists - all of this gives such a great experience! As a solo women traveller, I really really appreciated the service and sense of security here. It's 3-4km from the city center making commute easier and also away from the noises.

Great location and prices; the shops are good. The owner is very professional- he runs the show with a good heart and impeccable professionalism.

Very tourist friendly (visiting from the US). Nice restaurant and shops attached. 24/7 check-in. Good location.

Bathrooms are a little odd in India compared to the US. ? Not a fan.

Great location, fantastic breakfast to start the day. Good vibes with traditional music playing. Tasty menus for lunch and dinner. Relax atmosphere. Friendly staff.

The street can be a bit noisy. The wall is quite thin, you can hear your neighbour talking.

excellent breakfast, rooms were very clean. Service was good too.

    10MattPosted on: 12-18-2025

There was plenty of clean drinking water. Besides minimal interaction between guests, there was a good communal feeling among strangers. Recommend for singles couples or families that want to find peace and quiet in a big city.

Everything was good. I would not change anything.

Arya Niwas is a rare find in the heart of Jaipur — a calm, heritage bungalow-style property that instantly feels comforting and welcoming. Despite being so central, it has a peaceful, old-world charm that makes you forget the city bustle outside. The aesthetic is beautiful and understated, with wide verandahs, lush lawns, and a very homely layout. Sitting in the garden in the evenings, with soft background music and warm lighting, was one of the most relaxing parts of our stay.Hospitality truly stands out — the staff are gentle, attentive, and genuinely caring without being intrusive. Everything feels thoughtfully done, with a sense of warmth that you don’t often find in hotels anymore.Chitra Café deserves a special mention. We had multiple dinners there and looked forward to each one. The food is wholesome, flavourful, and consistently good — comforting Indian meals served in a serene garden setting. Dining under the trees with calm music playing made every dinner feel special and unrushed. The property has a very old, comforting vibe, almost like staying in a well-maintained family home rather than a commercial hotel. Clean, simple rooms, peaceful mornings, and relaxed evenings made this a memorable stay.Perfect for travellers who value authenticity, calm, great food, and heartfelt hospitality. Arya Niwas is not flashy — it’s soulful, elegant, and deeply comforting. Would gladly stay here again.

Excellent staff, good breakfast, good service overall. The drivers we hired from the hotel were very professional.

We thought it was little on the expensive side. You get good value for it, but compared to other alternatives, you pay a higher premium. Especially for the driver services.

A beautiful property in a great location in Jaipur. The room was clean, and very prettily decorated. The breakfast each morning was excellent. The staff is very warm and polite. There are two wonderful gift shops inside that have some great souvenirs.

    Problem with hot water.

Loved the courtyard and relatively quiet side street location. Walking distance to the old district. Great Masala Chai! On location travel agent who could arrange transportation, etc for youThe hotel workers (restaurant and cleaners) were super friendly!

The restaurant had a bit of a cafeteria feel to it.The front desk staff were not all that personable like many other hotel staff are. Felt very disconnected

Breakfast was marvellous! The room was clean and as shown in the photos. The staff took care of anything that needed attention right away. They were flexible with my check out. The room was quiet despite being close to a main through fare. Filtered drinking water available.

    Nothing really.
