The Fern Jaipur, Series by Marriott

The Fern did not accommodate us AT ALL. On the day of the reservation, I called to confirm and they said that we could not have our EIGHT ROOMS that we required. They actually told us we needed to stay at the Royal Orchid hotel just down the street!There was not much explanation to me as to why they did that.

Our long-reserved reservation was not honored.

During breakfast all the used plates were piled up next to buffet food. It will be nice if they were taken inside rather than being seen by all guests.

Passable

Hotel's banquet hall or the bar/restaurant allows music very loud until late in the night that disturbs your sleep. They should invest in soundproofing those party halls.

extremely bad hotel . had stayed in 2016 so opted for it again but was very disappointed and would never set foot again

in the middle of the night, there was a really big argument next door. man was super angry and screaming. woman was bagging for her life. i called the receptionist, that woman needed help! NO ONE BOTHERED TO COME AND CHECK.

As usual fern bill desk poor service that is taking their own comfort for checking out process. Till time I have not received my invoices despite being committed to send on WhatsApp and email. Already 3 days have passed.

Good locatio, we couldn’t enjoy all possibilities from the hotel because we came in the night and left short before 12:00am again the place. Its located close to the airport with top friendly people.

What could be better is the room clima functions. It wasn’t possible to create a comfortable roomtemperatur.

The staff are very helpful and friendly. The size of the room was good. Very clean hotel and good facilities. It's located near the airport so keep that in mind if coming for sightseeing.

The choice of breakfast items can be improved. We had an issue with the cooling in our room, the AC wasn't cooling but the HK was helpful and sent a fan

The visit in the Fern was really great! The staff is very nice. There were some electricity issues in the room which were fixed directly. The roof top is great.The room had everything needed

rooms are highly unventilated. zero air.rooms smell of dampness and moisture. staff is good and cooperative.

Disappointing Stay – Not RecommendedI had a very unpleasant experience at this hotel. First, the washroom in our room was clogged, which was not only inconvenient but also unhygienic. They claimed we were staying in a non-smoking room, but the bathroom reeked of smoke, making the stay uncomfortable, especially with kids.To make matters worse, there’s a club right below the first floor that plays loud music late into the night. The noise was so intense that the entire room vibrated, making it impossible to sleep or relax.Room service was also incredibly slow. It took over an hour just to get a simple tea order. Unfortunately, the restaurant service was no better – we waited for over an hour for our food, which is unacceptable, particularly when you’re traveling with young children.

Terrible experience. Toilet of one of the booked room was dirty and compromised. Immediately returned that room’s key to the reception. Require refund .

Terrible experience. Toilet commode of one of the booked room was dirty and compromised. Even the wooden bathroom frames are dirty and unclean. However that can be tolerated but not the way an used toilet was given. It was i did the flushing …on seeing the dirty toilet. Staff tried putting the blame back on me saying i had used the toilet and returning the room key! Immediately returned that room’s key to the reception. Require refund . Even the bin near the toilet commode was rusty and lid not working!

The Hotel location is close to the Airport.

Ventilation & Air Conditioning was bad,which led to moisture stench throughout the Hotel.

Overall experience at the property was good. specially due to closeness to my next day's visit site - Jhalana

Only sweet smiling girls at the reception will not help. One needs to work towards any issues alsoBut AC in the room was switched off centrally in the morning

Good room, slept well, but ac issue troubled

Location of Hotel and room size was good.

1. Swimming pool was not maintained properly. Water was very dirty. No attendant was available near swimming pool.2. Instead of one single mattress, there were two small mattresses on the bed which was quite uncomfortable.3. Pillows were very hard.4. Bathroom exhaust fan was not working properly.5. Refilled glass water bottles were placed in room instead of mineral water bottle.6. Restaurant was too small and very poor management of buffet breakfast. It was all messy . We had to wait for around 20-25mins to get the table. My child became very restless.7. Hotel do not have dedicated parking. My car was parked on the road near a public dustbin due to which my car was all in dirt during my stay in hotel.

We got an upgrade to a suite room which was a very warm gesture from the front desk staff. The rooms were very good, clean & comfortable. Food at the restaurant was very good.Location of the property is also very good. It’s very close to Malviya Nagar one of the good suburbs of Jaipur.

The hotel has a separate Steam & Sauna rooms inside the changing rooms on the 6th floor but since the hotel has given the Spa section (which is also on the 6th floor) to a 3rd party spa service provider called Meghavi Wellness & the Spa staff from Meghavi Wellness tries to discourage you to use steam & sauna rooms without buying their Spa services. They however allowed me after I had a small argument regarding the same.I was in any case going to go for their massage therapy on 1 of the days & did go for a spa session, But such an experience of discouraging guests from using the common facilities like Steam & Sauna which is seperate from the spa section completely was not at all a pleasant experience. Ideally it should be “no question asked” policy when it comes to using hotel properties like Steam & Sauna as they are different from the SPA section completely. You don’t see such experience in other equally reputed hotel chains like Hyatt, Ramada, Trident, etc. Further, there was renovation work being done in their GYM during the peak season. Generally, such renovations should take place during Lean seasons so that most number of guests can use these ametnities. To me it looked like a cost cutting strategy.

The didn't gave us check in on time . We had to wait 2 hours .. It is not good for any hotel chai. They excused us that rooms are not ready at 4 pm.. They didn't had enough staff to operate this kind of hotel.
