    Pros +

    • Staff very courteous and polite. Breakfast buffet was very tasty with a lot of options.
    • Good location and within walking distance of Palace of Winds, City Palace. Lots of tuc tuc availability. Generally a busy area but all part of the experience.
    • Breakfast was in a lovely room and was fine. My partner said dinner was delicious but I was sick that night. The manager was very helpful when I got sick and called in a doctor and nurse to tend to me. He was attentive and on the job. Very much appreciated that. The front desk guys were very friendly. Fresh flowers everywhere. Once we were moved to a heritage room and not the monstrously homely new building we were happy. Lots of fun things to view at the hotel.

    Cons -

    • Booking hotel car and driver for transport didn't always go to plan.
    • When we first arrived, we were taken up three flights of stairs and told it was the new wing. It had no elevator service when we arrived and the room looked like a corporate office with super bright lighting and ugly, cheap looking furnishings and doors. Big but so unsightly and not one bit of beauty when so much in India is beautiful. They really should redo it with a talented interior designer. I complained and we were switched to a Heritage room with elevator access. Very charming and old school with lion head beads and seating. Much happier.
    • Hard to say, maybe more of a happy hour vibe.

Exceptional hospitality and service. Rooms were clean and location made it very easy to get around.

Hard to say, maybe more of a happy hour vibe.

Beautifully maintained gardens and buildings. Lots of gorgeous art and furniture. Room was very comfortable and clean. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful.

The wifi connection was very poor. At this price point you expect everything to be perfect. Lots of people are here for business reasons and rely on the internet.

If I could give this place an 11 I would. It’s far away better than the very smart chain hotels. It’s effectively a mini palace that’s been repurposed into a hotel and populated with caring attentive staff. The decor inside of this world with many small touches that really do make you think you’re stayingwith a Raj, in a palace.

    Absolutely nothing. Can’t fault it.

The staff were wonderful and it was calm envirnoment.

The hotel needs investment in maintenance.

History. Ambience. Location. Staff were excellent.

Amenities not reflecting the rating and rate. They could do better for minimal investment.

Lovely staff, all friendly and helpful. Hotel was in old town. Food was very good. Was nice to see an old palace.

A faded and jaded old place. Rooms were tired and did not have the facilities of a 5 star hotel in room. Spa was closed. noise from Construction woke us up early in the morning. Bathroom needs a deep clean.

Beautiful old hotel, amazing welcome like stepping back in time.

Shower pressure very poor and usually cold

Brilliant location, stunning palace with lots of art and beautiful features. Delicious food and cocktails. Really lovely staff, especially Dharmveer

It was very close to the Jaipur old city and great for ease of access.

The overall service was good but didn't have anything standing out for it given this is a heritage hotel. Breakfast was average, too. The hotel rooms need some upgrading and fixtures too.

Wonderful location, and a very nice place to stay with only 50 rooms. The rooms were large, and very comfortable, and all in all a great experience! Staff and service were very good! Breakfast buffet was included, and all meals were handled in the same restaurant. The Kabab restaurant menu was available but served indoors due to winter.

Wifi was poor, and I had to use a hotspot. Would have liked an additional casual dining option.

The property. The location. The dining staff

I was asked to pay Rs. 7500 per person for gala dinner. We were a family of eight. When refused, I was then asked for rs. 5000 per person.

Nice location. Beautiful architecture. Professional staff

Took too long for water to turn hot in shower and bathroom.

    6TheoPosted on: 11-24-2024

    Beautiful building and exceptional character.

The Gym and Spa facilities are VERY dated. The gym was like something out of an 80s motel.

    9RuthPosted on: 11-19-2024

A beautiful old building close to the pink city, with gardens and courtyardsLovely staff

A couple of plumbing problems which were sorted out quickly

    9KevinPosted on: 10-27-2024

It’s a PALACE!!Stunning rooms, lovely grounds and breathtaking restaurant.Staff absolutely first class.

Plumbing is not great, shower a trickle. The 3 minute music loop will drive you mad and send you to bed early.
