Dera Rawatsar - Heritage Hotel

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this property. The entire place has a beautiful heritage feel, which was exactly what we were looking for in Rajasthan. From the moment we arrived, the reception staff were warm, welcoming, and extremely helpful with a smooth check-in process.We were assigned a private car with a chauffeur named Kushal, who truly made our experience exceptional. He took us to all the major sights, gave us great local food recommendations, and even arranged a knowledgeable guide to help us explore the attractions more easily. Kushal was friendly, professional, and always willing to go the extra mile, making our trip completely stress-free and enjoyable.Overall, our stay at this hotel was amazing, and the service, especially from Kushal, made it truly memorable. We would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a heritage experience with outstanding hospitality.

We had a great stay. The room was huge, comfortable, and beautifully designed - unusual décor, a cozy library, and a gorgeous closet with a safe inside. We also loved the restaurant; the food was excellent, making the stay even better.

The only downside was the behavior of one young manager who came across as arrogant, almost rude, but it’s important to note this was an exception; everyone else was friendly, polite, and very helpful.

Location, pool and staff. Spacious room with a heritage touch. The food for breakfast and dinner were good.

It is truly a boutique hotel that features Indian family history through art, artefacts, and decor. The pool was nice in the heat of the day. The staff was very attentive and helpful.

Bedsheet was clean. Breakfast is ok waiters were good.

The owner’s wife seemed quite unpleasant — she wouldn’t even greet people and acted very cold. The two managers or receptionists seemed to follow her lead and were also unfriendly. The one without the mustache was especially rude and had a very unpleasant attitude.On top of that, Jaipur’s men in general felt extremely unsettling — groups of idle men loitering around everywhere, staring in a predatory way. The city itself was truly disgusting and filthy. Honestly, it’s not a place worth spending the night in; it felt dangerous.

Staff was excellent - friendly and warm. The food was very good, and was similar to home-made food.

The rooms were very hot and the ACs struggled to keep up.

They could’ve checked the platform of our train arrival for our pick-up from the station, now we had to walk 15mins to another exit.

Excellent staff who were very attentive. They kindly let me extend my stay a few hours to accommodate my late flight. Nice pool but very shallow. Very fair price for beer!

The tiles in the shower are very slippy. Great care needed not to fall.

It had a nice rooftop terrace with great views of the Taj.

Food was a little expensive for what was provided at dinner and breakfast.

Perhaps a bit far from central Jaipur like bapu bazar or hawa mahal. But is a small con if you are familiar with uber and get autos

Very peaceful and relaxing place. Rooms are nicely decorated in Indian / Colonial style.All the staff are very helpful and pleasant. Helped my group with several admin tasks and kindly provided a pack breakfast as our train was early - before the breakfast room was running. All round great stay. 100% would stay again if in Jaipur.

Hotel great. Staff great. The bus station close by on way in / way out by is a pretty hectic and scuffy area - but does not affect hotel at all.

I came Jaipur to show it to my mum for first time that’s why I choose this beautiful hotel with Rajasthani vibe. And when we came manager upgrade our room to super luxe, my mum and me were so happy to see our amazing room. Here is no need words, just look at pictures. Stuff was super friendly and care about us. Breakfast every day was same, but everything what you need you can find: fruits, eggs, toast, both Indian and English breakfast available. All territory was super clean. And what I like most that foreigner girl in swimming bikini can feel comfortable there and enjoy swimming pool, nobody stare and watch you as we usually see in India. Thank you for that. Will back definitely!

Maybe sounds of bus stand was just next, but this is not hotel mistake..

EVERYTHING about this hotel was a dream. The team were so conscientious from before we even arrived, booking pick up from the train station and then to the airport on departure . We were treated with such gentleness & care from the moment we arrived by everyone. The room was decorated with exquisite taste, a very comfortable bed and a palatial bathroom. Sheltering from the heat by the pool was a gift and we are so grateful for our time spent at the Dera Rawatsar ✨?✨

A lovely hotel in Jaipur with very comfortable beds. The room was spacious and the air con worked well. Breakfast was plentiful. The pool was a delightful way to cool off after sightseeing. All the staff were polite and helpful.

This was by far one of the best hotels we’ve experienced in India.The location is very central but 2 blocks off the main street so that behind its gates you enter peaceful serenity.The room is large with a very comfy bed, plenty of storage space, fans and ac, a table to write and work at as well as a love seat.The bathroom is well equipped with an excellent protected shower, two sinks, and toiletries that compete well with my own from home.The daily cleaning is excellent. Fresh absorbent towels every day, additional toilet paper, and a well made bed.The food is quite tasty. Best to stick with the Indian food but their eggs in the morning are excellent.The staff is beyond wonderful. Efficient, pleasant, helpful, and good at what they do.The pool is refreshing and cleaned continuously during the day.Try their gin and tonics - perfectly blended!
