Hotel Ratnawali - Pure Veg Hotel

The extensive breakfast buffet - including both Indian and western options - was included in the price, and it was excellent. The hotel location was terrific - with easy access to the sights and shopping that we were interested in. And the hotel is a beautifully refurbished old mansion with a lot of charm. The staff was friendly and helpful.

Hot water in my room was a bit iffy, although there were no problems in my sister’s room. Also - and I want to stress that this is simply an observation and NOT a criticism at all - nearly everyone on staff has quite limited English, so westerners should plan to use their Google Translate app a lot or just roll with it (as we generally did).

This hotel is exquisite, full of charm and calm. The rooms are of a decent size, clean, comfortable, and carrying the elegance of a palace. Its location is ideal, within walking distance of busy markets, restaurants, and essential facilities. The staff are welcoming, kind, and genuinely helpful, and the security guard at the entrance is a true gentleman who is always ready to assist.The breakfast is also satisfactory.

Rooms are bigs and very clean. Bathrooms are big. You find comb, slippers along with Ayurvedic bath essentials in the bathroom. Breakfast is served hot, fresh and very delicious. I loved their food so much that even after checkout, I went to their restaurant for dinner. Try their ghar ka khana thali, it’s amazing. Overall, a great experience.

They have Netflix and prime as option on tv but it was not working. Not a big deal but then you should remove those options.

Breakfast was solid, mostly Indian food though always fruit and cereal available too, staff quite helpful, especially as we speak no Hindi and this was our first destination in India. Room and bathroom provide just what you need, price seems reasonable. Centrally located. Small rooftop was a nice surprise.

Breakfast no good if you want European. Limited to just toast, butter, banana. Hot water for tea or coffee only warm at best. Overall, breakfast was very disappointing.

The rooms are comfortable and the stuff is very nice and responsive. The location is very accessible and within walking distance to the pink city gates and bazars.

The hot water in the shower were no available during some hour (noon time/early afternoon) or where not really hot but only warm.

Decent location, clean rooms, good food

1. Staff weren’t very friendly. Not rude, just gave off a weird vibe sometimes 2. They didn’t clean our room over the 3 nights we were there. We had to pay to replenish water bottles 3. AC smelled like mildew so we kept it off4. I’d suggest bringing earplugs since you can hear horns from street, fireworks, etc.

Friendly staff. Was able to change money. Room was large, and I had a round bed! They provided a heater, as I was there in January. They even made me a breakfast box as I had an early departure.

Everything...comfortable beds, great interiors, well maintained rooms. We had a family room...with 2 attached rooms actually. Very clean. Too nice! Food was good too.

The rooms were spotlessly clean and the staff is very friendly. Best part about the stay was the room size. The rooms are massive and very comfy to stay in. Internet worked well too.

The staff is very friendly and helpful, alsays helping for each doubt and need. I got sick during my stay and they arranged a visit to a doctor.

Very friendly staff, spotlessly clean, vegetarian restaurant served the best food we have had in India. It’s also on a quieter street which is great night and it’s not far from any of the things you want to see in Jaipur. Our room also had the best shower and bathroom we have had anywhere in India. The pictures on booking.com are exactly how the room looked. We can 100% recommend.
