Jaipur Marriott Hotel

The staff were attentive and helpful. The room and the common areas were everything you expect from a Marriott.

Everything was great.

It was okayish

The bathroom sunk tap burst open, spilling water on us. We had a flight to catch. When I went for a shower, the handle came in my hand. Why would a property charging high rates, not have a maintained washroom??

Only the breakfast part- rest in last 3 years facility and mannerisms have dropped drastically

Beds were uncomfortable- no bath robs, no hair dryer- very bad condition

It was disappointing experience booking the stay with Marriot. Their online support/customer service, reservations at the hotel and even the Director rooms didnt bothered to answer or acknowledge a request made. It was such a frustrating experience. Wont recommend

Extensive buffet menu, and we booked our Christmas lunch here; can't fault the staff or the buffet. In 25 years of travelling to India, and staying in 5 Star hotels, this was the best buffet to date. There was also a good selection of shops within the hotel.

The pool was out of commission, being re-constructed. I was not told this when I booked the hotel and it was such a major inconvenience that within an hour of checking in I had booked another hotel from the 27th to the 30th. So the Marriott lost three days' business asa result of this and I would urge them to be transparent in future - and for potential visitors to check whethere there is a working pool.

Generally things were fine except the breakfast on the 2nd day. We were seated in the PDR area of Okra restaurant where there were glass pieces shattered all across the floor. It took 15 mins for someone from housekeeping to show up to clean the floor. And even then it was a shoddy job. The food in the breakfast spread, that day, was uniformly bad including the sambhar, the tea, various dishes incl the samosa, chhola, etc. The service took forever for us to get anything, and often we went across to the live counters and picked up our orders ourselves.And to believe we paid extra for this breakfast!

Team of chef headed by Mr. Bhagat took good care of our diatery requirement. Staffs were very friendly .

Amazing views. Liked the peaceful atmosphere. Enjoyed the sunset from our balcony. New and impressive property. Great service. Good SUVs and drivers arranged by the Travel Desk.

Sophisticated,luxurious modern hotel. Excellent buffets(Indian and Western food) offered thrice daily and a la carte menus available all day. Large room.Though my room faced a busy street it was whisper quiet inside.Luxurious beds,linens,towels.Speedy elevators.Gracious and helpful staff. Hotel lobby seemed filled with people most of the time.Conventions?Tour groups? (Not sure). The hotel ,though modern,still felt Indian,which I appreciated. Hotel lobby had live Indian acoustic music most evenings.Even the restaurants had low volume,live (western)music several days.

Location.5 of my 7 mornings at the Marriott I travelled to one or the other of the 2 major destinations most travelers want to explore:The Old City or Amber Fort . It took well over an hour to reach the "Pink City" aka The Old City,sometimes 90 -minutes-one way.Amber Fort was about 90 -minutes away each of the 2 days I visited it.The reason:traffic congestion between 8 and noon,when I would travel. The other luxury hotels all seem,likewise, to be quite a distance from the Old Town. On the other hand,it was nice to get to the airport in about 10 minutes.

The location and price as ok, rest all needs improvement !

The rooms need refurbishment ! The towels are not clean enough to say its a 5 star!

The spa felt a bit dirty. Our room didn’t seem very clear either.

The hotel provided great service, with courteous staff.The buffet is very tasty and rich, providing with lot's of options for everyone.The gym and pool are very nice.Driver Kemraj and concierge on duty at the time of my checking in were very helpful and nice.

Minor issue was the lack of options for fresh fruits - it had some, but this was the only thing I was not super happy about.Also if you are planning to arrange a pick up from the airport, the responsiveness from the hotel on the Booking app is low. You should WhatsApp the concierge, which was super fast im my case.

Property was good but, room are clean and spacious. The staff does an outstanding job, especially Amir from the reception who helped me with a WiFi problem. He went beyond my expectation and solve the issue efficiently.

No a/c on corridor of 7 th floor, rooms are well maintained.

The room service and food were awesome.The chefs Mr Alam and Mr.Das and the other restaurant staff were helpful and cooperative.

The swimming pool area is closed at 9/10 pm

I come and stay every year at the Marriott because it is conveniently located close to the Jaipur Literature Festival venue. This year my stay was absolutely dismal. Other than the SPA every other service in the hotel just plummeted. The cleaning and food hygiene aren’t absolutely up to a Marriott hotel. Most of the staff is absolutely clueless about their jobs, and one of the manager I had met the previous year told me he was contemplating leaving the hotel because he felt he wasn’t able to do his job because he spent the majority of his time apologizing to clients.There is clearly an upper level management problem, I am hopeful things will improve in the near future. As things stand, however, I definitely cannot recommend a stay in this property which is a shame to the Marriott name.

We would like to mention our experience at Marriot overall as good but want to mainly highlight the fact that the lunch and dinner buffet served at the hotel restaurant was surprisingly below average. During our stay we had lunch which had options and varieties, although the food taste was not up to the mark. However, the point of dissatisfaction was when we opted for the dinner buffet as well which was served with exactly the same menu in the dinner and lunch menu with hardly any changes. It was quite dissapointing as the prices for the buffet are already quite high and to our experience there was close to no change in the menu. We would also highlight that the breakfast menu was good and satisfying. However really disapointed with the buffets provided for lunch and dinner, i would highly recommend for the team to take measures for this.Overall the stay, staff, & service was up to the mark.

The facilities and cleanliness were satisfactory.

However, my experience with the reception was quite disappointing. During check-in, they didn’t mention my room service credits. I’m not sure if this was an issue with Booking.com or the hotel, but even after I showed my booking details, the receptionist assured me he would make a note of it.At check-out, they simply presented the total amount due. I had to insist on seeing the breakdown, only to find out that the room service credits had not been applied. This credit was overlooked twice.Additionally, the breakfast—paid with the room service credit—was very poor. For a 5-star hotel, the service and food quality were far below expectations.

Rooms were very nice and staff exceptionally helpful at all times
