Hotel Diego de Almagro La Serena

Room was okay and the view of the ocean while only partly was good. Not much variety for the free breakfast.

The only downside is it is very far from restaurants and shop.

no where to exchange USD, or use an ATM. The air conditioner did not function very well....

My ‘sea view’ was mainly a massive 11storey block of concrete apartments directly in front of the hotel and I caught a glimpse of the sea at the extreme ends of the building in a small gap! The external side of the windows were very dirty and need cleaning. The hotel is tired but functional.

It is clean, and the personnel was very kind.The breakfast was outstanding.

Would like more hot water pressure in the shower and the air conditioning could be more efficient

Great location, very close to the lighthouse and the beach. Walking distance to many nice restaurants. The garage is covered and very easy to access. Staff was nice and friendly. Breakfast has a good variety. Rooms were large.

The hotel is a bit old, and the bed we stayed in was very uncomfortable.

The price could be a bit lower, but its near by its quality proportional. They need to develop a nice GYM. There is only a little rook with 3 common machines.

They did not have a policy of not washing the towels every day. Environmental measures were lacking.

Place looks ran down and outdated

Outdated needs renovation; breakfast was bad; service was bad; unhelpful staff

Bed was comfortable and the bedroom was clean and nice.

I didn´t like the breakfast, and the good coffee has an extra price. There was no water in the bedroom.

bathroom had a lot of patch work for caulking. looked like an old building just painted over for the $$$ I payed should be better
