Movenpick Hotel Karachi

Location

Hundreds of room only two out of four elevators are working. I waste so much time just eating for very small elevator. Everyone was taking about elevators issues.

Staff is very friendly and also hotel location very convenient everything is close by

Bathroom had a very bad lingering smell. We asked them to clean it but the smell was still there. Also breakfast buffet was repeatedly same food over and over. They used left over food from one morning to the next. Made us all sick eating old food.

Clean hotel that is located nearby to other established hotels. Hotel has ample staff, full breakfast, and speak English.

Hotel took a long time to check me in citing that their system is down. When I was given a room, I found someone else's luggage there. I complained to the desk but this situation sheds doubt on whether the hotel actually cleans the room between guests.

The staff was super rude. They were inquiring me in rude manner why I came. Also they did not allow my guest to meet me and commented like ¿who invites guest in room¿

I think there is always room for improvement in every sector

Dirty room, with hair on the bed and side tables, horrible service, with no hospitality, a one star hotel with one star service in the price of a five star hotel.

Room quality was good, Breakfast had lots of variety and quality of food was excellent. My only concern was the check in time it took the staff at the front desk reception. I had to wait until my rooms were ready although I had clearly informed about my check in time in advance.

It took lots of time at the check in counter which really irritated me and my family.

I didnt like the attitude of the reception personnel . They were very slow and not attentive.

My room was not totally clean and there was a noise from the central air condition unit

It was a very warm and welcoming environment, Airport shuttle was excellent. Check in staff Danyal and Shahzad went over and beyond to help me out. Bell boys, Jalal and Arjun are the best. Excellent breakfast selections.

There should be smaller Airport transfer vehicles available for single or two customers as the big bus is just a waste of space. . Also the mini bar should be free of charge like other 5 star hotels. Just a suggestion

gym, steam, etc are very good and value of money. lobby is very well maintenances , cleaned and lovely. staff is very cooperative and well mannered.

breakfast was very average and disappointing , room are just ok, some problem with ac units, alot of noice in night, difficult to sleep. room temperature was hot even ac temperature on low degree , i think it requires maintance. very disappointing .

Location and purpose of my trip

Air conditioning were not working properly. There was an issue with the flush as well

Full marks to Location, Room and extra marks for breakfast.

Pillows needs to be more comfortable in terms of size and fluffiness.

The balconies were all locked and the windows were sealed so they were filthy from outside

Only breakfast was good.

The room could benefit from some modernization, as it appears a bit dated. The bathroom shows signs of wear, with some paint issues that may need attention, and there is room for improvement regarding the overall air quality in the space.

Clean, modern and friendly staff.

I got severe food poisoning from my last dinner before departing. I ate in the Italian restaurant by the pool, Luckily I made it back home to the UK before my symptoms really kicked in at their worst (didn’t eating anything on my journey back).
