Amona Hotel

Lovely staff, very kind and helpful. Nice food and coffee in the downstairs cafe reception area. Comfortable room with decent a/c.

Building is a little old and in need of some care but positives far outweigh this

Great hotel, the dorm has good sleeping pods with a small table, lockers and seating. The showers were clean and the AC worked well.

It's not a hostel so it wasn't so social

One of the worst hotel experiences in Vietnam

The AC did not work, and the room was boiling hot. We where multiple people complaining but the staff where still being super ignorant to the situation. Had to find another place to stay, and the staff was really not kind or helpfull, in the situation. The day after they offered me a 50% refund, but since this Place is double price compared to others and the fact that I had to pay for another place to stay, that really didnt help. The manager also informed me that the receptionist had to pay my refund and not the hotel. Thats not a nice way to treat your workers!

The lady at the front desk is pretty and enthusiastic, and can communicate well in English. The air conditioning in the room was abnormal, it was very hot and smelly, and the air in the room was not good. Without international plugs, adapters may not work. The neighbor next door has delicious Thai food (highly recommended)

BEST LOCATION in HUE, the hotel is located right at the heart of Hue Center, easy to walk to everywhere, and there are alot of foods around, the Hotel does have extremely good SPA SERVICES. I tried the 90mins Package with only 15USD. You can never find that price in the whole world. The SPA SERVICE was beyond my expectation. Even 100 times better than in my hometown Hochiminh City. HUE must be the BEST, CHEAPEST and FRIENDLIEST CITY in the world. I'm so in love with HUE and its people. HIGHLY recommend AMONA HOTEL for any solo travelers!!!

I can not find anything to dislike!!!! ^^ Everything was perfect!!!

the restroom is clean and hot water coming fast. My bed is perfect, I was here when it was 15°C outside but the cocoon kept me warm and a good sleep at night.

Super lovely staff & great location. They let me check in super early after my night bus, this was amazing of them

Beds were pretty uncomfortable

Staff Ms Kim is very kind, cheerful and helpful, she made me feel like at home. Thank her so much. ?

Should provide some drinking water if possible and a kettle at dorm, so that is easier to boil hot water.

It was very clean and the staffs were very helpful.

The beds of the doms were comfy but since it's like a pod it was too hot. They didn't have fans like the other dom beds.

StaffsLocation

A/C not working in many rooms( we booked 4 rooms )Hotel not well maintained, humid smell..

Welcoming and extended helpful staff. The Dorm beds were kinda like cubicles which offered more privacy. Very near to walking street.

There could have been more parking space but staff helped so not really a big issue.

Nice and professional personal. Speak English. Available motorbikes for rent. Pool was clen. Good value for money.

Good position, close to good restaurants. Quite at night. Code to te beach.

Staff were lovely and it was a great location. Bonus was the spa on the same floor with very cheap and good treatments

Only 1 toilet and shower for a dorm room of 12 people. There was other people's hair and stains on my bed sheets and the whole place was quite dusty. Not seriously dirty but definitely not 10/10. I was in a top bunk on the side of the room the air-conditioning didn't reach so it was super hot. Staff were helpful in allowing me to change to a cooler location

Nice location and staff. I liked the room, spacious and clean.

The shower was quite cramped and got wet all over.

Good location, clean, super friendly staffs!

LocationBeds were okBathroom was clean

No common areaNot so social

cheap and easy to find. good area for good food! fast service to repair the hot water that didn’t work when we arrived. try the hang me me restaurant very close by for delicious dumplings!!

it was hard to make ourselves understood so although we got the hot water fixed the heating remained broken - it was raining heavily and we wanted heating to try and dry some clothes. the room felt damp. on our last day a staff member with some English arrived (perhaps back from tet) and the service improved so perhaps it was a temporary issue!

clean and quiet hostel

broken lockers, staff doesn’t speak English

The location is great, the staff is nice and helpful, rooms are fine.

From my experience this hostel isn’t very social, so I wouldn’t recommend it for solo travelers who seek company.

nice hostel, the room was clean and silent, great location
