Villa Hue

Good facilities, helpful friendly staff, and breakfast was surprisingly good. Nearby to the river and walking street

Hue is so underrated. Best part of my trip. The palace was amazing and the staff here were great. The pool was an added bonus. Very clean.

Very pleased with the whole experience.

The pillows were nice and soft but the bed was a bit hard. The rooms are large, bright and clean. We particularly liked the breakfast. The location is good with a few good Vietnamese restaurants nearby. The pedestrian street night market is nearby but only on weekends.

Nice balcony for chilling out however it was looking into a construction site. Luckily it is almost complete and there was no activity on the days we were there.

Everything, great location. Very clean and staff were helpful and very friendly. I would definitely stay here again.

Construction work

The room, the staff, and the overall experience were excellent. I truly appreciate the service I got. I was not aware of the major construction work being done in the front garden, which meant the entry was not as elegant as it soon will be. However, the hospitality of the hosts, their helpfulness with finding interesting touristic sites and good restaurants, more than made up for the inconvenience. Also, the hotel was very quiet at night despite being within a block of the exciting nightlife of Hue.

Central location and close to many restaurants. A short taxi ride to the city’s main attractions.

Nice pool but closes at 7pm. Would be nice to stay open later so a dip in the pool after dinner be possible

Building site next door but not the property’s fault

The property was beautifully appointed. Such large comfortable rooms. The decor was reminiscent of the Imperial Palace. Staff were lovely and helpful. Excellent service especially when I left something behind. It was delivered to my villa in Hoi An the next day. A good breakfast with both western and Asian choices. The hotel is in walking distance of great restaurants and cafes… also a 10 min walk to the perfume river. The Citadel is about 2 k’s away. Would highly recommend to treat yourself with a stay at Villa Hue.I would definitely stay again if I get the chance?

The staff were very helpful and pleasant. The room was pleasant and comfortable. I also liked the fact they were doing their best to be environmentally friendly, eg glass water bottles in the room with refill posts around the hotel. My partner was in a wheelchair, and they made every effort to check he could get around the hotel safely. The fruit in the room on arrival was a lovely surprise. I was also surprised to read it functions as a training centre for hospitality staff. And obviously doing a very good job!

My only quibble was that the lunch/dinner menu had absolutely nothing for vegetarians.

Rooms are large and comfortable, and tastefully decorated. Beds are very comfy, and the bathroom was large with a good shower. The hotel is located very close to the walking streets and plenty of cafes, restaurants etc, but still very quiet in the hotel. We drove here by motorbike, and there is secure paking on site. Very happy with our stay here, and would stay again when in Hue.

Staff were very helpful when we had some difficulties. Very friendly, approachable and helpful. We thoroughly enjoyed our 3day stay and highly recommend Villa Hue as a place to stay. Very close to the city centre so easy to get around
