The Chum Boutique

Wonderful hotel in a perfect location!Just steps away from amazing Bun Bo Hue soup and several lovely cafés with truly great coffee. The staff is incredibly kind, welcoming, and always ready to help, which made our stay even more enjoyable. Laundry service is available for an extra fee, which was very convenient. Would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend this hotel!

We stayed in two different rooms at the Chum boutique, one on the main floor with a cute garden patio, and another on the second floor that had a lovely bath tub. The beds were comfortable, wifi worked great, and the staff were extremely helpful!

Well, unfortunately my husband and I both got a nasty stomach bug the second night we were at the Chum (not from any food related to the hotel), and being sick in a glass bathroom with half-height walls was not ideal. There was no privacy from the unpleasant noises of two sick adults, and while the bath tub was gorgeous, when I was actually in it it felt like it was going to break under me (it's a plastic claw foot tub).

So cute, gave speak easy vibes and the beds were so very comfortable! Softer than the other hotels I had stayed in which was a nice reprieve. Great location. Would be nice to have a safe in the room- especially since they advertise “do not leave any valuables” on the room, but other than that it was great! Would definitely stay again!

Absolutely loved the design of this hotel! The lobby and room were tastefully decorated in an antique goth/victorian style you rarely see in Vietnam. Staff was always available to help and you can rent scooters directly from the hotel for convenience. The rooms were comfortable and the water pressure and temps perfect. It is within walking distance (if you don't mind a stroll) from the Imperial City and the riverfront and plenty of restaurants options without being super busy. The only downside was it could be a little noisy since the windows are thin and the building echos. If you are a light sleeper, bring earbuds if necessary. Breakfast is not provided which let's you explore local options nearby. There are also plenty of coffee shops next door or further down the street.

The location was perfect.

I wish they had breakfast at the hotel. But we managed to find good places to eat walking distance from the place by searching online.

Excellent staff, unique decor which distinguishes this hotel from others, and nice location away from backpacker ridiculousness but close to anything you would need.

The interiors were excellent, and I love the shades of greys and little objects they had everywhere. The staff in particular was wonderful, helpful, always smiling!

The beds were harder than I expected, but they were really comfortable, tbh! The TV remote was a tad uncooperative, but that may be just me!

Our flight was delayed so we had very little down time in the hotel but it was a very lovely place. We had a spacious room with a balcony. The night staff was helpful with our bags. The location was nice, with plenty of places to eat nearby. We tried the MOC cafe across from the hotel and a spicy noodle place a few doors down. Both are recommended.

I would prefer a bit more privacy for the toilet area. The curtain does not suffice for comfort when traveling with others.

This is a charming and beautiful hotel. My room was very cozy and comfortable. The hotel is convenient to the central area of Hue. The staffs are friendly and very accommodating.

The room was just fantastic, the bathtub in the room was an unforgettable experience. On getting around, restaurant Cozy was not far away, which was great.

The mattress imo was a little worn out

The aesthetic qnd decor were great. Very comfortable. Location was good. The sauna was nice but clearly wasn’t used much.

Our room didn’t have a view. The shower head was broken and the water didn’t come out as it should. We only stayed like a day and half so we just dealt with it. More bottled water could be offered.

Special place—great location, and comfy modern meets old world styled rooms with every amenity. Staff always available to help with every need.

The room was great, very comfortable and nicely decorated. The staff was fantastic, very helpful and professional. We got some great recommendations regarding nearby restaurants with delishous food.

Everything exceeded my expectations. The staff were very friendly, the breakfasts were delicious and made to order, all was very clean and comfortable. The location was exceptional. I can't wait to come again.

Nothing at all!

The location was great. There are many coffee shops in the immediate area and it's a short walk to a variety of restaurants. The river and entrance to the Citadel are in walking distance. The hotel is quiet, clean and good value for the price.

Our twin room was very small with a tiny bathroom and shower set up that looked like two converted closets. It would be okay for solo travelers but was cramped for two. Unless you are a couple staying in a double room, two separate rooms would be a better option than a twin room.

Beautiful decor, quiet and comfortable rooms. Would definitely return!

No elevator, but staff were happy to help with luggage.

Very detail. Service is perfect. Staffs were so nice. We’re all amazed how they treat us. Best hotel we ever stay. We definitely will come back. Please give them applauses for all the staff. They really care about you by looking at everything they prepare for you at the hotel. Bed is super comfortable. I had a great sleep.

Fantastic stay here in Hue. The bed was very comfortable and the bath was very much appreciated, along with the sauna. Location is a little further out from the center however a 15 minute walk.
