DMZ Hotel ,Central Hue ,Near Perfume River

Location is very close to the center of city.

Very friendly 'staff'. An extended family manage the place. As l was arriving at the end of a damaging weather event the staff kept me updated me on accessibility to central Hue.I will be back in Hue in 2026 and will probably stay at DMZ again.

The damaging flooding was tragic and it was heartbreaking to see the impact it had on the population.

Convenient location

One of the reasons for choosing this room was that it said it was barrier-free and had an elevator. However, after the elevator arrived upstairs, we had to take the stairs to another building to get to our room. We asked to change it on the spot, and the room after the change was very small.There is an extra charge for instant noodles in the room, but there is no notice or explanation!

The rooms are clean, we had a room located to the street, which also had a good sized balcony - too small to enjoy being outside, but big enough for putting clothes/shoes outside to dry. The bathroom was clean and provided everything you need, but being very compact it was too small for more than one person at a time. Good shower though. Average bed's hardness for Vietnam accomondation. Good location for being close to, but away of the noise range of many bars, clubs and restaurants. The citadel and palace are quite a good walk away, still doable on foot. Not all staff knew English, but was helpful with either translation apps or videocalling some staff who did speak English. Laundry service was solid and as we expected.

Our street-side room had the speciality of a window, where the frame didn't fit the hole in the wall. Early morning you could hear the street's traffic through the gap of about max. 2cm

Good location but still not noisy, we got juice and towels when we arrived and could enter our room before 2pm because we arrived earlier

Room was ok , location good

On arrival they didn't have our booking on file. Instead of 2 rooms we had to take one room with 3 beds. On departure they insisted on cash and we were were charged for bottled water - the only time in many visits to Vietnam that this has occurred. Front office staff were not friendly

It locates in the center so that I can walk around.

Very nice location: Only a few steps away from Truong Tien bridge, Toa Kham wharf (to go on boats to listen to Ca Hue), and many restaurants in Vo Thi Sau street (the so-called Walking Street). The hotel is very big and includes the elevator. The staff were nice and helped me book the motorbikes (120k-150k per day) and the tickets to listen to Ca Hue in Huong river at night. The air conditioner works well (very cool).

The facility is old-fashioned (old design style, no smart TV). Because of the architecture of the hotel, there are some rooms that needs to travel a few staircases from the elevator (you have to lift your luggage for a little bit).
