Sala Hotel

This was a fantastic location, being in a dead end street so there were no issues with noise, a fantastic swimming pool on top of the complex, the staff were very accommodating, I arrived so early and they prepared a room for me very quickly. This was support from Miss Duong Thi Diu, I would also like to thank Miss Ngoc Anh, I had to wait 3 hours after my checkout for the bus her hospitality in letting me continue my work in the restaurant, where I even purchased some lunch

Knowing Vietnam can be extremely hot, I was surprised that there was no bar fridge in the room, if they wanted clients to be happier, all rooms should have this applience,

Disappointing

Breakfast was very limited, with what I would have liked not being available for all mornings, even though it was on the meny. Staff were indifferent really. The room wasn't very clean, hairs in the bed etc. The pool was green the day we arrived as well. Staff didn't knock on the door when cleaning the room, resulting in them waking us up by just walking in to the room.

The rooms were so modern and clean with a great TV and air conditioning system. The staff was also lovely. They helped us sort out an airport shuttle and the receptionist was friendly

Room had mould, had to change rooms but the second one still had some mould.

Room small, aircon and TV are not working

For one night it’s a good deal. The room was clean and the bathroom was clean. No mould. It rained the whole time and it was very humid, no fan / window in the bathroom and the shower has no glass or curtains, so in the morning the floor was still all wet and lots of condensation. Beds are small but firm, again it’s ok for one night. Pillows could be a bit ticker or they could at least provide 2 as it was a very flat pillow! Breakfast is a la carte and you can choose between eggs (scramble or friend) in bread, ham in bread and butter & jam in bread or Bun Bo Hue (Hue style beef noodles). It was a nice breakfast. The lady at reception is lovely.

When we arrived at 5.30 pm there was a party going on and the music was very loud. We went out and came back around 9 pm and the party was still going. At 10 pm it was still loud so we asked reception what time the music would stop and they said they would turn it off shortly. Within 5 min it was all quiet. Seems to be a place for locals to have parties, our kids went to sleep straight away and were not bothered by the noise, however, I struggle to sleep when it’s too noisy, so of this is a problem for you I would recommend staying somewhere else.

Location was good for us

We asked for twin beds and got a double with hair on sheets. There was also hair at breakfast on the 2 days we had it thereShower flooded

Somewhat volatile supply of warm water.

Struggling to find positives due to the issues we had. However, the bed was comfy (ignoring stains, mould and hairs) and the pool area was nice.

They did not pre-warn us about construction on the property prior to our booking, so when we arrived most of the hotel was being worked on; from 7:26am (we can be this accurate due to it echoing through our room and waking us up) until around 11pm when if it wasn’t construction noise, it was noise from private parties.This construction also impacted breakfast, with the noise meaning we couldn’t even hear ourselves talk at the table and also there was dust in the air whilst we ate.We raised our concerns with the staff, asked to speak to management etc but all we got in return was ‘they are out’, ‘sorry’.Annoyingly, the hotel requested we pay on arrival so with this and language barriers we didn’t withhold any payment, but do regret not being more direct on this.I tried to attach a video of the noise in our room at 7:26am but it won’t let me attach.I have raised with booking.com customer service and on their reply will be taking it further. I would like to say that without the construction this could be a nice hotel to stay in. However, we did also get a weird vibe. Due to it being empty most of the day then at night there were ‘businessmen’ parties with flashy steaks, and ‘pretty’ women stood and sat by the entrance of the hotel (not in the hotel uniform like other workers, and people who we did not see in the day).

The rooms are big and they look new.

After I checked in I noticed there was no toilet paper or remote for the TV. I had to message them on Booking.com because I couldn't figure out the phone. My shower was wet too like the room had been used before I got there. House keeping came on the second night at 7:45pm for the first time which is too late. The breakfast options are limited. The TV turned on by itself in the middle of the night 2 nights in a row. Car alarms were very loud outside the window which is too high to see out of.

The rooftop pool and location were great! The rooms were quite disappointing but ok to sleep in

We used the hotel for one night and i think for the price it was great value. The girl at the reception was very helpful.

Breakfast a bit limited

The room itself was nice and clean.

Booked this place for the pool but only went in once for a short time as it had this gross grease on the top layer which made it feel disgusting. Breakfast was also very bad with stale bread and bitter coffee. Someone started drilling above us at 7am on a Saturday morning.

The pool itself was really amazing, with sunbeds.Seemed really luxurious as budget accommondation.Cheap motorbikes! Big bathroom.

Breakfast wasn't so much, just one small meal and a little orange juice or coffee. Alot clothing moths in our room too....

There is ample privacy, the staff is friendly and helpful, the internet is fast (200Mbs), the Daikin air conditioner is provided, numerous coffee shops are located nearby, it is situated near Vincom Plaza, and there are plenty of local restaurants in the vicinity.

The room is relatively small and lacks cleanliness.

Good location, in walking distance to town and local attractions. Nice swimming pool area. To be expected for the price point.

Room was very small and had no windows, looked completely different to what was advertised on booking.com. Breakfast was very basic and as with other reviews, the eggs were very runny and undercooked, not really worth getting up before 9am for.
