Shine Hotel Huế

Good location, good value

No real complaints. A few points to note.. Bed is very firm. Staff don't speak English, so had to use translation app. Having electricity in the room is tied to a card in a slot, so you can only have AC in when you are in the room. And AC is not strong. It takes about an hour to cool down the room. Once going, it's fine.

Good location, friendly staff, good price, few minutes walk to boardwalk Huong river .

The room was spacious, with a large window and a balcony. Everything was very clean, and the beds were comfortable. The staff was friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home. The location is good, with plenty of tasty restaurants and cafes nearby. A great place to stay with very good price!

Close to the station; Cheap

No ventilation or window in the room, which resulted in moldy walls and just a general humid room;The bedsheets were also not very clean;Room was cramped due to multiple pillars in the room;Curtain couldn’t open or close;Walls were dirty (coffee splatters) and bed and lamps were very dusty

The staff; REALLY friendly - both the mornnig staff AND the evening ones. Indeed, the morning ones even kindly let us check in early - as our overnight train from Hanoi arrived mid-morning IN THE POURING RAIN and we needed to shower and get clean and dry again. Thr staff happily let us do so! Thank you - again - ladies!

The room - was rather too small to be called a 'Suite'! Indeed, the double bed in it, took up about 90% of the room space - so it was a bit difficult to move around easily inside it.

Room is fine, clean bed, bathroom works, shower was hot.

NOTE: Most rooms don't have a window, even though the description says 'city view'.We came earlier to check if we could drop our luggage, and the reception lady said it was all fine and we could just go to the room. Afterwards she charged us for the early check-in, which I wouldn't have minded if she was just clear about it beforehand.

Close to train station and lots of nice cafes. Walk to town along the river is a lovely safe walk. Very clean room with nice TV with YouTube etc.

The lady on the front desk was amazing. Always helpful A real asset to the hotel.

We booked a private taxi to Hoi A but ended up sharing the taxi with 4 locals to Da Nang, dropped them off and picked up 2 more locals and another tourist from Spain. Trip took much longer Spoke with a rude man from Shine Hotel asking why our private taxi was shared - he said this was the way and wouldn’t give us a refund. Very rude man.

Fantastic experience!It's a locally run hotel, in a good location, and the room was incredible! I had a deluxe double room, the beds were very comfortable, there was a fan and air conditioning, towels, sliders, some toiletries, and a TV.The best part was the staff! I met the owner, and 3 staff members. All of them were so accommodating and friendly (and so lovely as my Vietnamese is terrible!)If visiting, I highly recommend visiting the Cafe 32 next door but one, the lady who runs it is incredibly kind, and the food is wonderful. There's plenty of nice cafes and restaurants nearby, Anh Cafe is lovely!It's just a half hour walk to the citadel, and close to the train station too!

I actually booked this hotel and did not stay at the place due to my partner booking a different place. The room was very clean with nice linen and the hotel staff seemed very helpful.

The hotel was not as directed on Google maps. This may or may not be the fault of the owners. The room I was allocated had a window without blinds that people from other apartment nearby could clearly see the bed. Also could not use credit card to pay. Only cash. Shine hotel at the top of building is called bao hotel.

Really nice receptionist, je even said thank you in German to me when I left! Big comfy bed and Air conditioning, water bottles in the room and everything else you need

It was a bit noisy in my room because of some generator/machine outside (I think), but with some earplugs in I had a very good night!and there were a few tiny ants in my room…

Lack of curtain in 1 window.. Very bad smell from the drainage. Terrible air will flow into your nose while sitting in toilet.
