Pros +
- Receptionists are very friendly. Room is clean and price is reasonable.
- There is no elevator. There is a restaurant across the road that plays loud music all night, every night, still playing at 4am. Sometimes they start at 4pm in the afternoon. This is torture. Rooms in the middle and rear of the hotel probably can't hear it. The hotel is very well positioned to access all the different food options. The staff are lovely. My husband enjoyed the terrarium that had a terrapin.
- The property gives you the vibe of the hotel in early 2000s but well managed and clean. They change the sheets daily. The location is central with lots of nearby restaurants. The staffs are super nice and helpful! They are really the best value of the hotel. Highly recommend the hotel
Cons -
- bathroom is a little old. but everything is still working fine.
- Need to note that there is no elevator but that’s not a problem for me.
- The room was very old fashioned. although clean it felt like it needed a bit love. The bathroom towels were threadbare and were virtually see through in places. However the main complaint had to be the noise from the nearby bars . It sounded like there were two bars playing particularly loud music with djs who were competing to who could be the loudest . It sounded like it right outside our bedroom window This did quieten down around midnight but I and wife are of pension age and like to retire reasonably early . In the morning we were woken by drilling and hammering from a building renovation a couple of doors down . So we decided it wasn't for us , cut our losses and left Hue for Halong bay and Cat Ba .

The staff were very friendly and apologetic when we decided to cut short our stay

Anh, the receptionist, was the best in this hotel. She made everything she could to help us during three days to make our vacation wonderful. Thanks
Hot water, wifi, view,
Stairs. No wash cloths, no Netflix
Friendly staff made me feel welcome and let me store luggage, wash and get changed after I checked out. The hotel is in a perfect location near to bars and restaurants and also within walking distance of the Imperial Citadel.
The bed was very hard and uncomfortable, among the worst I've slept in as an experienced traveller. The room was also quite shabby and tired, although I think it was fine for the very reasonable price.
Price and location is good
There are lots of mosquitos in the room. It is not really clean. The smell is also strong… And there is no elevator. So we needed to bring the suitcase 2 floors. I do not complain about that in a hostel, but in a hotel I expect different.
Staff hosbitality, supportive and friendly.
The room is very noisy and too old. Some doors can not be closed, got stuck; the TV remote sometimes did not work, and the fan in the bathroom was too noise.
Staff is so friendly, we stayed one more night, place is perfect for visiting, eating, shopping. They can organise everything for you, motorbike renting, bus booking...and dont charge for that ! You will be treated like à King in Hué !
The most friendly staff we have had on our 4 month traveling trip. The rooms were spacious and were really affordable at roughly £7 for the night. The location was perfect there was so much around us and made it easier to pop out for food/drinks.
We had a room without a window which didn’t bother us but may affect others. There is also no lift but staff helped us with our luggage.
It's good place for few days of stay. Right in the centre of Hue. Staff was very friendly and room was clean?
Great location; near enough to the ancient city and the nightlife, but not loud at all. Clean, spacious rooms with good amenities at a great price. And the most wonderful staff imaginable: I had an issue with my visa, and they were able to help me figure it out, even accompanying me to the immigration office to help interpret and vouch for me! Even while staying at another place in Hue I am invited to come back to the hotel lobby to sit and chat any time I like.
The staff are amazing, helpful and so incredibly friendly! The location is excellent for Hue where you are close to the nightlife and a lot of the tourist destinations but still have lots of local spots around as well. Also unlike reviews I read before it was very clean and no bugs!
The bed, pillows, and comfortable were not the comfiest (you get what you pay for). As well the walls are quite thin so first night we had people coming in late and loud but second night it wasn’t a problem! Honestly for the price and location, I would for sure recommend this place!
Very convenient location, room was spacious and clean. The staff were very responsive to my messaging before i arrived. Highly recommend thought it was excellent value for money.
The receptionist was very professional and helpful.
No windows in the room so it's cramped with no air flow or sunlight, beds hard as rock and flat pillows that make your body ache. No elevator so you need to climb up to your floor.
Very cheap right near the walking street. The staff was very helpful a woman gave me the ability to choose between two rooms and told me about non touristic sites of the city. The security guard was very friendly at late night.
Awful hard mattress and noisy. People yelled in Vietnamese on the street till 01:30 am and the traffic starts horning at 04:30 am so use ear plugs or use 4 small pillows which you find in your bed put them on your ear to sleep somehow.
Excellent location, decent room with hot shower, fridge but our favourite thing was the staff they went above and beyond to help with parking the bike, bags and just general conversation, they were really nice friendly people and a credit to their workplace
It was two twin beds and we requested double but we could have pushed them together but as it was only for one night we didn’t bother
The staff were very helpful. The location was great, everything was close but it was quiet which was nice. The room was great as well, the AC was great.
The toilet became clogged very quickly but we only stayed one night so it was totally fine.
Good located, clean and stuff really helpful!
All good, payment just on cash.
