Rosaleen Boutique Hotel

The room was fine but I found it a little bit soulless. The staff were very friendly and helpful, particularly on arranging some trips and transport. Apart from the noise, the location was good in that we were able to walk to the main market and a restaurant that I wanted to go to, so overall quite well placed.

I found having breakfast in another building a bit weird. The main issue was the noise - we were obviously in a fairly vibrant part of town, but that was not helped by there being a street concert right outside our room, for which there was set up on our first night and the concert itself on the second night. The hotel did provide ear plugs (and the concert was outside their control) but they were not that effective.

Staff were very thoughtful, they waited all day until we returned late evening to surprise my sister's birthday with a cake and song, breakfast was really good too.

Location was convenient tho across the street there was a bar with loud music and light until 3 am but the hotel provided ear-plugs which we did not use since we were tired from our visit in the old city in Hue. Still highly recommended.

Great hotel in a good position. The staff were exceptional- really helpful and polite. Really clean. Breakfast fine but oddly over the cafe next door. You need to reheat the hot water between showers!

The hotel and the staff are very welcoming, the rooms are nice and functional. The pool is quite big and good for swimming. The breakfast was very good, especially if you miss fresh white bread. The location is good, lot of restaurants near by. Vi Hue was really good. The imperial citadel is within walking distance but it is better to save the energy for walking within the citadel itself.

There is a loud night club on the street opposite to the rooms with a balcony so be prepared to adjust the noice cancelling in the earphones to max.

We stayed here for one night, after arriving via the sleeper train from Hanoi. As we arrived before check-in, our room was understandably not ready. However, we were able to store our luggage and make use of the swimming pool which was great. The pool area doesn't have many sunloungers, but this wasn't an issue for us. The room was large and comfortable, great for the one night. The staff were very friendly, and organised a private taxi transfer to Hoi An for us. Location is very central in Hue near many bars and restaurants.

The fact that there are extremely noisy nightclub type venues with noise into the early hours. The clue was our room had two pairs of earplugs on the bedside table.

The staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel was clean, had a good size pool, the rooms were spacious and the breakfast was very good.

Rosaleen is situated just 300m to the war remnants museum, making it a short walk.Few restaurants nearby, mainly coffee shops. The jacuzzi was disappointing- extremely dirty, with thick dirt scum around the waterline, making it unsuitable for us. Many of other facilities are in a men only section. This section of hotel outsourced however still disappointing.

The downside of a central location meant that it was exceptionally noisy at night, ear plugs were provided. Our initial room smelt very musty/damp. The staff were lovely and we were moved to a much better room. Thank you.

Hotel was right in the centre of Hue and very noisy.

Location was the best. Excelllent breakfast, rooms and staff.

Location is perfect, just in the center of the pedestrian street. The room is big enough with a small balcony overlooking the street.

There is a bar just opposite your room on the street and you could hear the loud noise from there in the late evening. The hotel has kindly provided earplugs but it doesn't help much
