Hot springs were FABULOUS!!! LOVED all the classes!! Yoga , Hoa AMAZING…. Head / neck massage Thani soooo intuitive… Noman spiritual energy radiates… tea ceremony beautiful… staff at restaurant lovely… spent Christmas by must & indulged emotionally, spiritually, mentally… all staff wonderful!!! LOVED MY SPECIAL TIME ???

Room has bad smell. Public toilet is too old and dỉty. The onsen are not hot as said. The massage time since 1:30 pm í not appropiate

We had a great relaxing stay. The staff is very friendly and helpful. If you're looking to disconnect from every day life. This is the place to reconnect with yourself. The food is delicious and all the facilities are awesome.The only thing is that it's far from Hué center. It takes 45min by shuttle that you have to pay. And the last shuttle from Hué center to the resort leaves at 2pm.

All good. The retreat was very quiet with very few guests which was good for us.

Buffet breakfast was unavailable but given the limited number of guests understandable !

-- gorgeous area, hot springs that you can swim in all day (I LOVED the hot springs), interesting, but regimented onsen experience, good but nothing special massage, wide variety of classes, lots of veggie options at breakfast, along with the typical high carb stuff, very friendly staff, room had a phone, was tastefully decorated, electricity even when you leave. the staff was very nice. -- the zipline was amazing! I am a big chicken, and they had a tiny zipline one foot off the ground. Then you can do the rope park to get acclimated, and then a normal kid- style zipline. THEN you can try the one over the valley, but I didn't. I was happy to make progress.

-- it's true about the noise-- screamng, music with base, games, classes-- all in close proximity. half of the area belongs to a more affordable hotel which attracts locals. On the one hand, you want to be in peace. On the other hand, this is their country, and what a shame if this beautiful land is too expensive for them. Some compromise could be made (no loud music, etc), but they're not gonna do that. Noise pollution is the norm.-- One of my teachers of breath work (she was very good)spoke firmly in military style during class. I asked her to speak more softly (I was alone). She couldn't. In general the level of English is the same as every other nice hotel, but here it detracts from the classes -- fine for interactions involving bills and menu orders, but not to conduct classes. Particularly their pronunciation.-- lots of pushing upgrades-- they aren't aware that the last impression you make is most important. On my last day, I ordered a buggy to help me take my luggage. It didn't come, so I lugged my bags across the area so I wouldn't miss my 11:30 shuttle. I arrived at 11:31, and asked if the shuttle had left. The girl at the desk didn't know, then she began to wait on a Vietnamese woman, then by 11:39 she still didn't know (and didn't care). Finally a man took care of it, found out it hadn't left. Later I traveled into the city to their sister hotel, which allowed me to store my luggage for a couple of hours. But I had already paid for luggage storage bc Alba said they had no where to store my luggage. The sister hotel kept many people's bags that day, and at the very least Alba could have said it would be a possible option. So overall lack of respect for my money. In the rest of Vietnam they told me to take a motorbike and not a car to save money -- just so you have an idea of how unVietnamese this is.Just pay money to use the hot springs and skip this hotel.

Gorgeous resort just outside of Hue proper. The design of the common areas and especially of the SPA is outstanding. The staff at the SPA went above and beyond to try and find the quietest times for us to do the treatments by ourselves. The open air hot springs are gorgeous, and the huge swimming pool was great to actually swim in. All the staff, at the hot springs, at reception and at the restaurant were absolutely lovely, charming and ready to help. It was an absolutely wonderful experience.

The food, considering the top level of everything else, was just average. When we were there on weekdays it was very peaceful and quiet, unfortunately on Saturday it got busier with large groups and families who were in a bit more of a party mood, making a lot of noise and playing music which spoiled the serene experience somewhat. If you can, absolutely avoid weekends or national holidays.

It was one of the best hotel experiences I've ever had. The staff were so friendly, professional and helpful at all times. After checking in you are given an app that you can use to communicate and plan your stay. You can even schedule housekeeping services and they were always on time and extremely fast. I have never experienced anything like that before. The onsen experience was also really great. I booked a lot of spa treatments and everyone did an amazing job and really went out of their way to make my time as enjoyable as possible. I also attended some meditation classes and the teachers were really friendly, well trained and helpful. Thank you again for all these great and relaxing experiences. The prices at the restaurant were a little higher than local places, but the quality of the food was excellent and the overall service was very attentive. Some of the dishes were the best I have had in Vietnam so far. My room was also spacious and had everything you need for a comfortable stay. The location of the hotel is quite out of Hue city and far away from everything. But you are rewarded with amazing nature and a really peaceful environment. I really wish I could come back one day and I'd like to thank the whole team again.

The staff was exceptional and the 2-bedroom bungalow perfect for our family

The food was not up to standard. A chef matching the resort is needed. The menu is set up to please most everyone but the execution is poor. Completely overcooked sea bass and flavorless spaghetti

The property is remote, quiet, and made for families.

We have been in Vietnam for several weeks now and found the staff not as helpful as at other hotels. They also called us on the hotel phone several times early in the morning, which we did not appreciate.

Love the ambiance of the resort, especially the sauna service, verry relax. We appreciate the enthusiasm and helpful of thr staff at the Reception Desk, will recommend the Alba Resort to my friends

Hot springs are amazing and the resort is very well managed. They do care about the environment, no plastics and you can choose not to change bed sheets in exchange for a plate of fruit, which is a very good sustainable practice.

Food is a bit boring after 2 days of stay.

The staff are friendly and helpful, the food is delicious, the location is peaceful and surrounded by nature. There are so many activities to choose from: meditations, yoga, Tai Chi, onsen, massage, swimming pool and so much more. Everything just slows down when you’re there. It was a tranquil moment in what can be a hectic country. It was my second visit and I’ll be back again.

Just fantastic! The breakfast any time anywhere was wonderful, fresh and delicious. The room was perfect. The onsen and spa services were super relaxing. The extra experiences they offer are mostly free and really worth the time. The zip line was fun! Just a ratatouille experience!

A mini buggy to the zip line top would be nice. ?

-Just wonderful staff, every single person who I had chance to be in touch -Very comfortable, clean, well designed room -Breakfast anytime anywhere which meant that it will be served at any place of the resort whenever you say so -Amazing complimentary mineral water which tastes like heaven -Complimentary mineral spray which has a way better effect than all those Vichy, Avene ones-My stay included everyday Onsen treatment and feet massage which you can upgrade to a full body one paying a little bit more - it was amazing -Obviously hot springs which I came for and which make your skin silky and healthy -Beautiful territory and landscape -Perfect wellness program and spa area, they thought of each moment of the experience and I have actually never been so relaxed as I was after the massages at the Alba

Was too hot to enjoy all of the resorts facilities - would be a better location in the cooler monthsThe very peaceful location was transformed on the national day weekend into a noisy (screaming karaoke, loud dance music, drunk people banging on your door at 11pm) crowded (no inside seating left for breakfast and 35 degrees outside) place that we were glad to leave. We had loved it up until til then.

The place is incredible!! The facilities are great, so much to do! The spa onsen bath was incredible, as well as the massage. Food was good at the restaurant, and staff was really friendly! I definitely recommend it, and will definitely be back! ?

Nothing bad.

Well maintained in a rural natural setting, convenient layout with bicycle or walking and golf cart on call. Excellent spa and onsen facilities as well as outside thermal baths. Very good restaurant with very fresh traditional Hue dining. Excellent, very helpful and pleasant staff at all facilities. Excellent app made management of room service, bookings and transport very easy and response was excellent.

Some what isolated but with convenient transport options for day trips to Hue; the next door 3 star hotel hosts cultural activities and is very lively with many school groups so may be slightly noisy on occasion but otherwise added variety to the experience.
