The location was nice and the people were friendly! But the star of the show was the worker there Kelvin - that man was a legend, such a nice bloke and incredibly helpfulWould definitely recommend?

Minute walk to centre, friendly staff. Allowed to stay at terrace and keep the luggage for free after check out

Probably nice receptionist but NOT hygienic room

I stayed in a private room. The room was SUPER DIRTY DIRTY DIRTY !!!Once I entered the room I smelt like there was people stayed in! And then I saw the sheets and blankets are full of people’s hair. Although they came to change the sheet but it’s disgusting and kinda ruin the mood for enjoying Machu Picchu. Shower Water is not very hot

Beds were comfy, toilets clean. Shower usually was heated. The staff were extremely nice and helpful - Michael (i believe) went to great lengths to help me retrieve an item from another hostel. A great place. Had a nice patio at the top.

The breakfast was nothing special, but it was free.

    Generally I liked it.

Just one egg per person so the breakfast they offer was an egg, jam and croissant. But for this price maybe I shouldn't expect more...

Super friendly and helpful staff.Very comfy bed that give some intimacy thanks to the curtains.Good breakfast.Cozy common space.

A bit noisy when you are in a room next to the train station. But that's part of the charm!

    10TysonPosted on: 10-11-2025

Awesome common areas and friendly staff. Cheap laundry services too (and they folded my clothes)

A few bugs in the rooms but nothing crazy. Also no hot water in shower

The staff were very friendly. Even before I arrived in Aguas Calientes, I contacted them online about transportation, and they responded quickly. I really appreciate their help.

Location, king room is big, and breakfast was delicious.

I wish checkout time was little bit later around 11am.

For 1 night it was a good deal. Luckily when we arrived late at night, the train stop very close to the hostel. The staff was friendly and did a quick check in. We did not have the chance to try breakfast since we had to leave very early in the morning for the tour. They accommodate our luggage for the entire day.

The hostel facilities are on the top floor, 5th floor, no elevator, no AC, not really comfortable place to hang out or pass the time. I wish there was a mirror outside the bathroom, it would be easy for 2 people to get ready in the same time.

Good and fairly priced hostel, they even gave a packed back to take food on my machu Picchu walk

Only 2 lockers in a 4 person room but it was ok

Soap in bathrooms would be great

    7ClairePosted on: 9-3-2025

The room very clean and female only room is very comfortable,in the morning, can enjoy the good breakfast and very good nature view

The room is close to the rail way, when the train come, the sound is very big, but this train noise will stop after 10pm. In the morning, from 5am there are train pass, noise Start, and from 6am, the rooftop bar of hostel start the turn on the music for breakfast. Can not take long sleep Because the noise In the morning.

SUCH a great hostel! Located right at the edge of town, it was clean, dorm beds were comfy with plugs, lights, and shelf. The staff were friendly and helpful, and there is a great terrace and restaurant with a gorgeous view of the cliffs. Would definitely stay here again!
