Theatre Hotel Kuching

Good breakfast, near the city center, comfortable bed, clean, nice view, filtered water available.

The swimming pool small, not for swimming - we were ready with our goggles but in vain:))

Just a heads up for those travelling with friends, theres around an inch of gap on the bathroom door that surprised us initially.Breakfast spread was descent. Maybe can also include cereals with milk and some pastries.

It has a small mini swimming pool which is the main point I choose to stay here for my kids leisure time. Plus there's no other guests were swimming there during that time makes them felt comfortable and exclusively for them. Parking area was spacious.

Maybe can make a partition at the pool area because it is just right near to the function hall. The room also has no iron provided. The bath tub also looks funny in the middle of the room instead innthe bathroom. The bathroom door also has no lock.

Cleanliness. Contactless check in. Location. Lots of parking.

1. I was given a room with a connecting door, and we can easily hear the guest from other side of the room, even when they are farting ?. VERY POOR sound proofing!! 2. Breakfast was meh, most of the menu was a bit on the salty side.

Location is very good

Front counter could be more flexible in allowing guest in exchanging rooms between online and at the hotel. And the extent hours charges are too high. Nothing is impossible. Everything we created. Be more flexibl

Location, room was comfortable, beds comfy, new spa next door was really good

Breakfast was a bit limited

The online Bluetooth key system is frustrating. It requires you to have a phone and access to internet to start with. You are also expected to have completed all the check in information, i mean everything, before you arrive. While travelling with no data this really isn't possible. Rooms at one end of the hall have the aircon intake and vent outside and are extremely noisy. Had to ask to be moved as the noise was horrible.Reception staff member was good and patient.

Good food and great location

Had to give -2 because the mug was tad dirty

Rooms were designed really nicely and are super clean.

The property was so noisy at night. They were hosting a function in one of the rooms and the music was so loud it sounded like there was a band in our room. We messaged the hotel staff to ask them to get them to stop, but they simply said it would stop at 11pm. At 11 we called again and they said it would stop at 11:15 and then at 11:30 we called again and asked to speak to the manager and they said it would stop at midnight. It was completely outrageous, so loud you couldn’t sleep. Staff were rude, and unhelpful. At check out we said we wanted to complain, they just said they would feed it back, no discount or apology or anything. If they want to host huge functions they need to insulate the rooms, pre warn guests or just don’t take bookings. Would absolutely not recommend. Which is a shame because it has potential but it was dreadful and I hate to think of a family with young children going through the same thing. The breakfast is also terrible, low quality food that’s no refreshed regularly by staff.

Location price breakfast

Soft bed, hot water little unreliable

Able to watch youtube on the tv using my own you tube account..the toiletries provided are better than most hotels I stayed.

The floor along the corridors a bit dark..

Room is good, but pls step up your customer service game. Tq

During my stay, there was a strong durian smell at the pathway to my room, leaving a lasting impression. I complaint to the staff, she just laugh & smiling. Maybe tak faham bahasa Melayu kot?Staff is not so friendly or helpful. I don’t feel inviting. Maybe this is KCH standard idk. Foods - mehhh ?

Comfortable bed, modern TV, good cleaning service, friendly staff, nice lobby, possibility to store luggage for 2 days during our trip to bako nationalpark

Taste if the food (breakfast and lunch, you can eat better in the city), cold air condition in the lobby, pipes in the bathroom had a strange smell

Front desk and housekeeping were great.

The noise at night from motorbikes was horrendous. I was in bed for 6 days due to extremely bad food poisoning picked up elsewhere. Being a lone traveller, there was little or no help. Luckily it wasn't charge for soiled sheets. No house phone. 'Swimming pool' was better being turned into an aquarium for fish.

Clean, comfort, strategic location and value for money. Just the room a little small.

Room a bit small. Breakfast menu same on everyday.

Room was clean and bed was cozy. The front office staff were courteous and helpful. The GM was apologetic for the restaurant fault but he has no control over the restaurant. I felt sorry for the GM. Good man and was very patient with my complaint.

The restaurant food and room service which was not part of the hotel but operating as a partner. Cold half boiled eggs were served for breakfast and room service was non-existent although a room service menu from the restaurant was made available in the room.

Very clean. Cardless access, Shower was hot and strong.

We had 3 types of rooms. We paid more for the deluxe king room yet it is smaller than the deluxe twiin room. There was no breakfast included option for the triple room like that of the deluxe king and deluxe twin.

Staff helpful Room clean & cozyToilet cleanHave youtube & wifi Great breakfast

We have to wait 30-40mins to check in ? Which suppose to be check in at 1400 but we get in to our room at 14 35-1440 ?

Great service, comfortable & modern rooms, perfect air conditioning, with pool and ease of access all in a great location.

Services on display in the advertising of the room (such as gym) weren't available. That and limited buffet food options were the only down sides. Be sure to double check things prior to booking if you're picky.

Nice movie themed decor and modern design. Located in the city.

Not attentive enough for housekeeping. Didn't replace new toilet rolls or provide spare ones. Not enough selection for breakfast buffet.
