It is cheap.. but for a reason.

The complex is tired. I did not go into pool for 3 days as it looked dirty. The room was adequate - not lovely. There as not attempt an information on nearby places, not tea or coffee. None of the little things - just very functional. I was told I could check in early - room was not ready. Wifi stopped working second day - but staff were quick to fix when prompted. Cockroach killed on second day.

The location was good around 15 minutes to the waterfront by foot. The room was nice and it included a fridge and a small desk. There was room cleaning every day with the replacement of towels, shampoo/shower gel packages as well as water bottles. It was possible to refill your water bottle at the reception, but the machine was off-limits to the guests and you always had to ask the staff at the reception which was a bit inconvenient.

The internet connection was rather slow and sometimes so weak that the devices would disconnect. It would be nice to have an electrical outlet beside the bed to charge the phone. Additionally, the light switch was on the top of the bed, making it uncomfortable to turn on/off the lights during the night.

The room was perfect for a person traveling alone

There was movement in the hallways late at night it sounded possibly like housekeeping moving rubbish bins or a trolley. It only ever started after I’d sleep so that woke me up.

Very satisfied. The room is very spacious and comfortable. The room is also very clean and the staff service is very good.

A very restful stay. Clean, quiet, comfortable rooms, courteous and professional staff, and very well and centrally located. No complaints. Would gladly stay again, and recommend.

It's tricky. After fullfilling my request to move on the second day, I liked the second room (108) because it was on the inside of the hotel and it was bigger and more comfortable. It warranted a score of 8. It was quiet and clean.

The hotel was full and so I was 'sentenced' to a room on the street side (101). It's so close to one of the busiest streets in Kuching that you can't actually see the sidewalk from the window, so it feels like you're peering over the left hand lane of traffic. In five minutes, I was back down at the front desk asking to change the room, but they were full, so they said sorry. The first night I felt like a homeless vagrant sleeping under the freeway. I was so exhausted from the long day that eventually I managed to sleep a few hours, but I was awakened every now and then by a truck or motorcycle. The next day I switched rooms. I was disappointed that the woman boss (she's the boss--anyone can see) told the manager to charge me for the switch, so I got tagged for an extra 58 ringgit--not a lot but not customer friendly. The second room was fine--much nicer and quiet. A couple more points, it's an older hotel, but maintained fairly well, but the elevator is a bit hinkey. It needs renovating. Also, all noises in the hallway can be heard in the room. The 'fart' fan in the second room didn't work and the internet was not good.

Everything look nice and clean. Spacious room with windows. Worth the price.

It was the staff Angela and Nick who were most accommodating. Beyond the hotel , they answered a number of queries I had regarding Kuching city, especially suggesting places to eat and drink !

Near to many places of interest.Very friendly and helpful staff.Comfortable and not too noisy although located side of the road.My room was clean and they will ask you if your room requires services.Got hot and cold shower.Wifi available and very good signal strength.Accommodation like coffee,tea,sugar, bottle of water and water heater available in room.

Parking in front hotel was limited and you need coupon if you want to parking there (only on weekdays).Need to tune hot and cold shower if you need medium temperature shower.

Everything!! and the price is superbly affordable.
