The LimeTree Hotel, Kuching

Location is close to major attractions and waterfront boardwalk, with many restaurants and stores around. The breakfast may not be various, but the menu changes everyday. The taste is good to have local and Western foods. The staff are helpful with laundry service and guests' questions.

The room does not have a fridge, so I had to ask the staff to bring a mobile icebox into my room. The pillow and sheet do not look clean, with some strange smells and hairs from previous guests. The room size is a bit narrow for two guests.

The property is conveniently located within walking distance to many restaurants, shops and local attractions.

On evening we returned to hotel hopping to have a drink on the roof top patio bar and it was closed before the posted closing time.

Ms Juli is the best manager ever! i had an issue while staying there and she managed to resolve it immediately. The breakfast dont have many option, but the laksa sarawak taste nice!

Our executive suite was quite spacious, but since it was road facing, there was a lot of noise from scooters, cars heard till late night. The rooms are elegant and clean, breakfast was delicious, Staff were very friendly

The room was great - spacious and comfortable. The staff were friendly and attentive, especially the hotel manager - Julie. The only issue with our stay was the noise after midnight from local motorcycle riders racing around the streets outside the hotel. This usually lasted a couple of hours, which was really frustrating, especially as I was struggling with jetlag too. Its hard to criticise the hotel for this as there are plenty of other hotels in the vicinity that probably have the same issues with noise levels.

Great breakfast, tops even many more expensive places.Nice rooftop bar, staff very helpful and kind. Interiors need refurbishment. Shower even if cleaned properly has the look of being a little bit dirty

A lovely, modern and clean hotel. The roof bar was great. The staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good. Next to a road where motorbikes seemed to like racing at night so unfortunately some noise.

Friendly and helpful staff, breakfast is great , lots of choices. The rooftop bar is great to relax after a long day and with great view to the city!

Helpfulness and everything else. We are a group of Seniors who stayed there for 3 nights recently. One of our friends has a mobility problem and we requested for a plastic chair to facilitate his shower in the bathroom. The front desk promptly responded to our request without any questions asked. I was impressed with the attitude of the front desk as the plastic chair was asked for was from the rooftop lounge. Having stayed in other hotels at Kuching with higher rating, i couldn't be certain that such a request may be met so easily.

We thoroughly enjoyed our 6 night stay at The Lime Tree Hotel. The staff were all very happy, friendly and helpful. Our room was very clean (room service each day) and well equipped (water, coffee, tea etc). Our room was very comfortable, we slept very well. We enjoyed our breakfast each morning- the choice was good, the hot food was always hot and everything was topped-up as needed. We thought the location was great- the waterfront and attractions are all close by and there are plenty of places to eat. The water stations and recycling were a bonus. Thank you for a lovely stay.

The breakfast offered many interesting choices and was well presented. I ate 3 meals in the evening there too and each time the meals were delicious.

Friendly staff. Good location.Standard Rooms are basic but comfortable. Walking distance to main sights and plenty of bars and restaurants nearby. Parking was available too.

Would have liked a safe in the room. Rooftop bar could be open later into the evening as it is a nice spot to sit and watch the city.

Though their cafe open on limited time, but the breakfast menu is meet expectation. Simple but delicious.

Location to many eating places

Too much traffic and surrounding noise! My room was close to back door of nearby restaurants and aircon compressors on the 4th floor. Exhaust ventilation in toilet and bathroom needs improvement....smells.

Hotels’ staff were very helpful and friendly. We initially took standard room, but it was too small. So we upgraded to exe suite after the first night, definitely worth it! The laundry service was exceptionally fast and good. Breakfast could have been better, selections very limited and basically same breakfast everyday. Location is in mid of alot of amenities. Bako takes around 30-40 minutes from here. The hotel management also held a Christmas Eve buffet with 10% discount for in-house customers, totally worth it!

It’s very very quiet at night. But this is Kuching in general. Can be a good thing if you like peace and silent night.
