Corridor and walk way to the room too old got some smell. And skirting damage made it look uncomfortable

We had a wonderful stay at the hotel. The room was large and very comfortable. A large mall is across the street. It was our anniversary and they made it special for us. We enjoyed a delicious steak dinner at the beautiful restaurant downstairs and our server Tesa was incredible. She made the experience 10/10. The chefs are talented and our food was incredibly delicious. Every staff member we encountered was awesome. We would definitely stay there again if we have a chance to go back.

Incredible building with exceptional facilities and staff. The food was amazing and we loved the spa with a long infinity pool you can properly swim in, a huge hot tub, steam room and sauna. I can’t say enough good things about the staff - they were so attentive and kind. Icing on the cake was the best massage I have ever had!!

Very comfortable bed, Clean room, lots of variety choise of tv program, nice view, good room service, Host at the restaurant was excellent ( Mr Fadzil ) Location near to Podo Moro Mall.

Super convenient location—right across from the big, new DeliPark Mall and close to the Tjong A Fie Mansion, plus loads of great local eats nearby. There’s even a nice little coffee spot called Kaffa right by the hotel exit, which seems pretty new and serves great coffee from both local and international beans. Check-in was a pleasant bonus—they told us we were the "guest of the day" and treated us to a complimentary cake in the room, some extra amenities, and a late check-out. Definitely a nice, personalised experience. The interior feels a bit dated, but it’s still clean and well kept. We did notice small things like peeling wallpaper near the door and a wobbly toilet paper holder, but nothing that really affected the stay. Overall, it was a solid experience—Marriott quality that you would expect anywhere in the world.

(a) Too old; (b) I checked in around 17:00 and still have to wait for 30 minutes - the receptionist said cleaning the room;

The room and toilet already outdated , room is nice but toilet’s exhaust fan not working so left the toilet with smelly

Separated bill for every single transactions. Too much but too little benefit in digital era.The room rate doesn't represent all cost bearing transactions. It excludes breakfast package that a common practice included in room rate.

Security is top notch! I had an amazing stay. Hospitality is amazing, breakfast spread is good! Comfortable bed! I loved my stay!

The General Manager left a personal note and a welcome amenity that mentioned we were the guest of the day. That made all the difference. The "onzen"-like indoor pools, and gym were great too. I am a Hilton Diamond member but this stay will make me consider Marriott Bonvoy in the future.

The pillows were too soft for my liking.

We stay here whenever we come to Medan The staff here especially Eprianda and Agus made us feel so welcome and special we will definitely be back We booked two rooms this time and Jean in Reception was incredibly helpful in making sure the rooms were together Thank you again to these wonderful staff for making our holiday perfect

As a former manager in four and five star hotels details mean a lot to me. Apparently they also mean a lot at the JW Marriott as attention to detail was noticeable throughout the property.The entire front service staff was gracious and welcoming. The Bellman were always present at the curbside, greeting customers and promptly and efficiently handling luggage. I never had to open the door when going in and out as staff was always present to do so. The front office staff was prompt and efficient and made me feel like a welcome guest.We dined at the buffet for breakfast and dinner as well as prime steakhouse. Staff was cordial, attentive, and professional. Buffets were abundant and well maintained. Food was attractively presented, fresh, and delicious.I was also impressed with the high level of cleanliness, and the overall excellence of the housekeeping staff. Public areas were consistently well maintained and spotless, as was our guest room, which had a large variety of amenities. The fitness center featured over 20 new Life Fitness machines. They included aerobic and weightlifting machines. There were also free weights and a stairmaster. Every machine had a bottle of water. There was also a dispenser of cucumber water.I was also presented with a bottle of water and a towel upon entering. There was also an outdoor swimming pool sauna and steam room.They might be more expensive than other hotels however, completely worth it. I will stay in no other place in Medan now that I’ve been spoiled by the JW Marriott.

Staff were extremely helpful friendly and polite. Food was excellent did not have one meal that i did not like. Beds were made up every day and rooms cleaned.

There was not really anything i did not like if i had to look for one bad thing i would say the price for laundry was a little high thats the only thing i can think of.

Breakfast was okay, the quality of the food was standard nothing too crazy, specially if you are into healthy food, nto much choice or awreness, the water prodided is aqua plstic bottles, een on the rooms they didnt have quality water, just cheat aqua wich is pretty average.

bad comunication between departments, not up to standard, my bags took forever to come down and I waited while I requested it long in advance for them to be ready for check out after breakfast. Not up to standard, homestay style service.

Excellent staff. Huge, fully equipped, gorgeous rooms. They even set up my room on my birthday like a party: balloons, accesories, a special cake etc.
