Cons -
- We took a superior room, expecting we would get a better place to stay. Room was on the first floor with a beautiful view to people waslking outside and a garbish. Elevator was shaky and dirty. "Superior" room, ment different colored walls and a kettle without teabags or coffee. No fridge, microwave or anything to heat the food. Both sockets close to bed were broken, so on the first morning we woke up with our phone battery dead, and we missed breakfast because of it. We arrived around 21-22 in the evening, and the onle way to get warm food was ordering it via "Foodora". Only available place was a pizzeria, wich delivered us a undercooked pizza. Luckily next to the reception there was a R-Kioski, where we bought our snacks. Btw there was no razors in stock. House slippers cost 3,50€, even though there was free slippers in the picture of the basic room. No Working space. In the picture of a basic room there also was a phone to call to the reseption, a table to work on and a better equipped bathroom( Icluding cosmetic mirrors ect.) . Our toilet was not working correctly, It made a strange noice after flushing so every time we had to get up and start rapidly pressing the flush button so the noise would stop. There was not even a shoehorn. The room was very cold, the radiators did not work and there was no conditioner. light switches didn´t work sometimes. About the spa... very crouded, cold water, no shared sauna, in the womens side there was only six showers, wich created a line after the spa closed, very dirty floors. But on the mens side it was clean and organized.
- Not enough vegetarian hot food options for breakfast. Mushrooms, hash browns, baked beans etc.
- There was nowhere to get a hot drink or lunch, except a basic shop, which was very surprising given the size of the hotel. The shuttle bus to the airport needed to be booked 24 hours in advance , which wasn’t made very clear until I got there, by which time it was too late. Some of the staff were not very responsive to questions. Service in the bar/restaurant was very slow. For the cost of the night’s stay I would have expected better service overall.

It was in a good position - big grounds close to a lake with walking trails and was convenient for the airport - which is why I was staying there.

The children loved the pool, the family room was spacious and it was competitively priced for the area. There area is lovely and there is ample parking.
We waited for so long for our food in O’Leary’s that we didn’t return. The food was nice but we waited with children for over an hour. During 6 nights, the room was never cleaned which we are not used to. Also, since leaving we have been trying to contact them regarding lost property but we have not managed to get through.
The beds
Water leakage on the bathroom floor. No cleaning during the visit. Whole place a bit worn down.
Room was bigger than expected. Good location near to main outdoor activities. OLearis resrourant fiod and service was exellent
Spa is charged extra, but there is really not much value. Reminds good old @90s. Breakfest reminds yoy that this is quite low budget property but if you dont look for more, it is quite ok
A lot of activities are available. If you use them, it will be good value for money. But we only used it as a B&B to get to Kuussamo National Park. And then it is rather expensive
It's a biiig place, with a lot of rooms and cottages, you're one of the many, no personal contact
The property is well past its best before date. Looks and feels outdated and messy.
Jees. Won’t stay here again. The room was outdated. Breakfast messy. No one was there to clean up. Dirty feeling.
Very good
As the hotel doesn't have an AC the room was very hot because it had been really hot week in Lapland
Clean, nice staff and good location
We liked the spa and the hotel area. There were lots of activities to do.
Our hotel room was a bit worn out, half of the shower sliding door was missing.
The room is well clean and huge. The staff is helpful. The chicken wings is excellent. The breakfast has several choices.
It would be better if the hotel provide the amenity kit/ bar at pool area/ more indoor activities. We got aparking by luck because of someone was leaving.
Excellent breakfast, big rooms, nice location
Nice small leisure center, nice location for nature.
Staff are in a bad mood. Food and drinks are too spread out. Unclear what you are allowed to eat at the buffee. If you take the wrong food you get told off but it is really impossible to know what food is allowed. What makes it even worse is that the wrong food was from the dinner buffee that had ennded and the food was being thrown away.
Breakfast was good. Spa is always nice. Room is clean.
It was too crowded during the breakfast time.
Good breakfast. Spa nicely in the same building, even though in the other end. Good connection from the airport.
Price with the spa access was quite high. Hotel must have been really nice when it was built, but surfaces would need a bit more maintenance/repair.
The hotel location is quite nice and the staff were very friendly. The R-kioski open on site is an excellent bonus!
The rooms, the spa and the hotel itself is very outdated... "old" and "worn-out" would be best description. During the holiday season is absolutely unreasonable to have breakfast only until early morning hours. The fan in the bathroom did not work, the remote control did not work - reception is not answering the calls, needed to walk all the way from one end of the building to another (in my pj's) just to get these things sorted. The water temperature in the spa is ridiculously low, not at all +30C as stated there. In general - clearly a "tourist" kind of place, hosting mainly groups. Not recommended for family stay.
I had read the reviews and they were not very positive, so I went with rather low expectations, there were not many other accommodation options in the area. When we arrived, we were already charmed by the hotel from the outside - a nice low building that fit into the surroundings, the interior design was in a lovely mountain hut style, which left a close to nature and cozy impression. Yes, the parquet and the furniture in the room were a little worn, but we took this hotel more as a "ski base" than a luxurious stopover, so there are no complaints. The only thing that bothered us were the gaming machines in the corridor, they were quite close to our room and the visitors played them very loudly, but luckily the noise was not much heard from our room. There are cross-country ski tracks right next to the hotel, the hotel room was large and comfortable, with cozy lighting, the shower had good pressure and pleasantly hot water - everything worked well!Unfortunately, we didn't get to try the spa, because it was just closed when we arrived, but looking in to the window, there were plenty of opportunities to enjoy the jacuzzi.Separately, I would point out the excellent breakfast - a very wide selection, very tasty dishes and very much taken into account for food intolerances, excellent!
Helpful staff, comfortable and clean room. Excellent breakfast.
