Pros +

  • Good value gor money, big bedroom & vomfy bathroom, has room heater which was welcome and front desk people are very friendly and helpful, supermarket, tram service, eateries etc are all nearby, and oh yes it has a balcony. I'll go there again
  • The hotel is within a 15-20 min walk from Casa Port train station and three tram stops from Casa Voyageurs train station.
  • Western standard room with bathroom, despite traditional lobby and breakfast room Nice breakfast

Cons -

  • Nothing
  • I booked the room for few hours before the flight. We had two heavy suitcases and were looking for some cheap accommodation to leave our luggage at and get changed before the flight. I thought a single room would be fine. However the hotel manager insisted that I pay for 2 guests although I explained that we would not stay in the hotel for the night and would check out at 5:00 pm. When I saw the room I was so glad that we would not stay there for the night. The room was filthy. I had the feeling that when they clean their rooms they simply change the bedclothes. The furniture was old and shabby. The carpet was dirty and smelly. I am not sure the neighboring streets would be ok with single female travelers at the night time.
  • Walking at night towards the city centre doesn't look always so safe. A taxi is preferable ifcoming back to the hotel at night
