Casablanca Le Lido Thalasso & Spa (Ex Riad Salam)

Tile and Moroccan architecture. The oceanfront location was a big draw.

The outside surrounding area was slightly seedy, trashy, and an eyesore overall. The hotel and spa are outdated and could use some TLC in the form of a major renovation. There was also a distinctive damp,mildewy smell throughout the hotel.

 the front desk was so helpful. He went above and beyond because I needed wake up calls with knocks on the door due to not wanting to sleep through my early pick up times. He showed me around the hotel and booked an excursion for me that I loved!

Pictures did not represent the establishment, photoshopped to make the hotel look nicer than it actually was, pool area was under a public restaurant which is highly uncomfortable and not relaxing at all with no privacy for hotel guests.

The beds ,and Pillow were confortable.

The noise outside was a kind of annoying.

The hotel amenities are old and outdated, clearly in need of renovation. The facilities, rooms, and overall condition do not meet 4-star standards. The property is not as advertised, and guests should be aware that the experience falls short of what is expected from a 4-star hotel. The listing needs to be updated to accurately reflect the current state of the hotel. TV was not working ,

I enjoy this as my favorite property in Casablanca been staying here since 2006 . Always my choice wanting casa to escape the noise and traffic

Honestly it’s a very bad maintenance property!

Every equipment is rusty or just not working. Leaks in the shower and just doesn’t worth the time and money.

Location, beach

Bathtub is very high to get into the shower. Almost had a bad fall. There was some deep cleaning that has to happen (cracks and crevices)

Old, uncomfortable, no facilities or room amenities.The room has no even a bottle of bottles, no coffee machone, or heater.

The hotel's location on the Corniche gave me a great opportunity to walk and enjoy.

The hotel is in a state of maintenance for most of its sections. The choice of rooms is limited.

I COULD NOT HAVE THINGS ON ROOM LIKE ROOM SERVICE OR TRANSFER TO AIRPORT OR FROM AIRPORT. I DID NOT HAVE CASH AND MY MASTER CARD WAS BLOCKED FOR TERMINAL PAYMENTS BUT ONLINE I COULD PAY IT WAS AN UNFORTUNATE DAYS FOR ME I LAST A FLIGHT ✈️ FROM CASA TO AGADIR AND FROM AGADIR BACK TO CASA AND HOTEL I WHICH THROUGHOUT MY STAY I HAD BOOKED ? AND THE MINI BAR WAS ? EMPTY I HAD TO ORGANIZE DRINKS ? FOR THE NIGHTS?FROM OUTSIDE

The room had no balcony, the bath and lamp didn’t work properly

The property was old, worn down and not clean. We were unable to sleep and did not enjoy the facilities at all.

If you’re an American & or from any Caribbean Island please refrain from staying at this hotel. Imagine I flew from NY to Morocco and this hotel treated me so bad that I’ll NEVER RETURN or endorse this country…. For a country that follows Islam and that way of life these people especially the manager is absolutely disgusting.

I liked the location of the hotel and the security guards at the entrance were very friendly and always opened the door

Firstly, I didn't like that in a 4-star hotel the sink in the room was cracked, there wasn't even a kettle in the room to boil water for tea and there wasn't tea or coffee there eitherSecondly, I didn't like the rude attitude of the staff, my husband and I bought a bottle of wine and sat drinking it in the lobby bar, because it was raining outside by the pool, the manager said that we can't drink our own alcohol in the lobby, we can only buy it from them at the bar! But I paid a lot of money for the hotel and I want to enjoy my vacation and I have to eat and drink my own food at the hotel, I'm not obliged to buy it at the hotel! Another time they refused to open the wine if we drank it in the lobby.the hotel only offers breakfast, there is not even a restaurant and it is not possible to order food in the evening if you want to eatI would like to note that the hotel was practically empty! and despite this, the hotel staff didn't carewe could have checked into a cheaper hotel and received a higher level of service
