Barcelo Anfa Casablanca

The hotel and the room I had was a deuxe pool view and it was absolutely gorgeous! The staff was always so polite and attentive. They provided service with service with a smile. The ate breakfast and lunch and the food was so good.

There's nothing bad I can say about my stay here.

The poor service overshadowed any good qualities about the hotel.

We booked two nights at Barcelo Anfa months in advanced, and upon arrival we were told they did not have a room for us to stay in the first night. They sent us to another hotel which was sub par. We made it late to our dinner reservations due to the set back of time. The manager did not comp nor discount the second nights stay. It was such a disappointment. I will not be booking there again upon my return to Casablanca.

The hotel was incredibly lovely. The bed was comfortable. And the staff was always helpful. Room service may have been the fastest I've ever experienced.

The bathroom facilities were great but it was a little unnerving for the shower to be out in the open. I would not have been comfortable sharing a room with anyone except my husband. And the WC was tiny; I could barely turn around in it.

Attractive and clean rooms.

Located in a high traffic area- felt like I was taking my life in my hands trying to cross the street. That being said, the room was quiet.

It was modern and not to far away for areas that were of interest to me.

They did offer transportation to/from airport. No tour info or local dining recommendations.

The staff was exceptionally helpful I had to travel with crutches and the hotel provided a full time wheelchair

Although I communicated that I am traveling with a broken leg, I wasn’t given a disability room. In normal rooms the toilet area is very small and the room door is so heavy that I needed assistance every time I go to my room In addition, on the last night of our stay there were ants in our beds. The hotel responsible explained later that it was a known issue for the rooms in the 3rd and 4th floor rooms

The outdoor pool was perfect for some downtime. Our kids were in the room next door and had a great time. Our room smelled a little mildewy likely due to the AC which if you have allergies, won’t be great. Our kid’s room was fine though. If we were alone, I would have requested to switch rooms. We only had one towel in our room which was odd for a “5 star” hotel but they brought more when we called housekeeping. For US standards, it was more like a 4 star hotel but still enjoyable.

Other than the mildew smell, everything was great.

Well maintained facilities, room nicely decorated and clean, spotless pool area (although the pool is very shallow.)

It’s located in a very noisy avenue (honking all day/night), luckily at check in I was able to get a room on the pool side (quieter). The staff is generally nice and accommodating, but unfortunately for my birthday my partner planned a surprise to be delivered to the room in the morning and the staff didn’t follow through. What a shame…they spoiled it for us…

Breakfast was good. Location was great. Our AC wasn’t working in first room so they moved us to another room with AC.

Somewhat expensive.

Location, walk to old medina, plenty small eateries. Pharmacy across road exceptional.

Drinks service at dining was confusion. Lemonade was bitter lemon juice+ soda? Room only had 1 cup for tea, when the room serviced only 1 towel left. Had to phone reception twice to have laundry picked up from room. Reception staff good

Not a great location- but totally walkable!

Casablanca is a big financial city- the Mosque is the best site seeing there is.

The staff very good and the lady who clean our room 915 very polite her name Fatima Alzahra very kind and also one lady receptionist her name Abeer very helpful and so polite

Good tourist hotel ideal for one night. Off the beaten path and not close to major attractions or evening dining.

The hotel lobby manager has a strong sense of superiority, and the service was average. At about 7:45 in the morning, a waiter came directly into the room while we were still sleeping, which frightened my children. Why didn't they even have the basic training of knocking on the door? There was no soup spoon at breakfast, and when I looked for the waiter, he was in the middle of a call. I had already spend nearly two weeks in Morocco, and this was the worst and most expensive hotel that I stayed in.

The staff were amazing and very helpful and attentive. Nabil contacted us prior to arrival to make sure we have a smooth check in and arrival experience. They upgraded our room and offered us complimentary drinks. I'd say that service and attention is 10/10

The hotel is a bit dated and needs refurbishment but the service makes up for that,
