The night receptionist is the most unfriendly swedish person we met in our trip. The parking in front is expensive and you must pay even during the night when it's totally empty. The hotel feels kitch and old. Really can't recomendo this place.

The receptionist, the location, the parking fees, the kitch decorations.

Motorcycle friendly hotel - parking for free in front of the hotel!Very nice and helpful staff.Plentiful breakfast (except omlet everything was tasty).

Electric plugs were in random places in the room (could not charge my phone on the bedside table), BUT they provided extension cord, so all good!

Excellent breakfast, easy-to-get-to location and superb facilities in the room!

It was very nice place with a good food . Everything was clean and fresh.

Everything was really nice. The personal, my room and also a wiew.

The location is excellent outside the centre of the town, adjacent to the University Hospital. In parkland setting. Also the car parking is convenient.

Both dinner and breakfast serving could go at least half an hour later.

We had a great night's sleep, comfy beds, really good shower pressure and overall the place was clean.

Nothing, we were very happy with our stay for the price.

No food options, they have a dinner buffet restaurant aimed at patients, but is 16.30-18.30. So pretty much finished by the time we got there even if we wanted that. So a mile and a half walk again in thick snow for food

This hotel is mainly a hospital patient hotel, rooms look and smell like hospital rooms and very sparse.

From the moment I walked through the doors, I was greeted with warm smiles and exceptional hospitality.Dining at the hotel’s restaurant was a culinary delight. The buffet features locally sourced ingredients, and every dish I tried was a perfect blend of flavor and presentation. Breakfast was equally impressive, with a variety of options catering to all tastes, including vegan and gluten-free choices. What truly sets this hotel apart is the staff. They went above and beyond to ensure my stay was comfortableThe location is ideal for me because I had my fiancé hospitalized in the hospital in front of the hotel. Whether you’re in town for business, leisure, or a bit of both, this the perfect place to stay. I can’t wait to return on my next visit to Umeå!

    Everything was PERFECT!

    10JohnPosted on: 8-21-2024

All meals (Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner) had good choices and plenty on offer. Good for those needing gluten-free / vegan meals. Bus to city center takes 10 minutes and is cheap (local bus app is very user friendly)

Meal times can be a problem - Breakfast bar closes at 9:00 monday to friday so no possibility of a lie-in. Early dinner as well (restaurant closes 19:00) so a later meal time means finding a restaurant somewhere else.

Simple and nice hotel.Good breakfast.Especially good was sauna after hours riding in the rain!

    7KariPosted on: 7-31-2024

The hotel is located outside Umeå city in the university hospital area. Everything is very basic and a bit worn out. The feeling is like a student dormitory. However, everything works and the breakfast was up to normal Swedish hotel standard. There was affordable parking available behind the hotel building.

We were a bit disappointed on the early closing time of the hotel restaurant. As the restaurant was closed, we tried to quench our thirst by buying a beer at the reception desk, but with limited success. Selling from reception's fridge was not possible outside restaurant's opening hours.

    Good location and clean

I ask for ice , there is kitchen available but hotel provid ice ? Strange?

    6JanPosted on: 7-22-2024

The dinner was basic, but good value. Good service.

Expensive parking. Hospital feeling. Breakfast only until 09:00.

    9TiinaPosted on: 7-19-2024

As a tea drinker, tea kettle was included in the room which was truly nice. The room was quiet, odorless, clean sheets, nice beds, tasty breakfast, ca 2km from the city, next to hospital. Slept very well and the blankets on top of bed were extra nice. Recommending highly.

The hospital was next building where some patients may or may not make occationally noises outside. Nothing to be scared of just prepaired that's all.

Great Staff, location was good for the University, comfortable bed

Restaurant shut really early for dinner, and the power sockets not in a great location for the room lay out

    10GabrielPosted on: 7-7-2024

The location is great and the breakfast was delicious, with a lot of options to choose from. I requested a room near the elevator and I got one without any problems or additional costs. The staff is very kind and ready to help.

I have only stayed for one night; everything looked great for me. I cannot really tell where the faults are, as I didn't notice any. So maybe next time, if I'll have a longer stay at this hotel, I will be able to write more in this field.
