This is one of the few decent hotels in downtown Mombasa. The rooms are huge --two-room suites -- though not everything works. It's quiet most of the time, the AC is great. The hot breakfast is traditional African food, very tastey. You can walk everywhere (the downtown, the Fort). The location in front of the famous "two tusks" is very convenient.

Some of the furniture is showing its age--my chair almost collapsed when I sat down, there was a fridge in my room but it didn't work. The staff are polite and helpful, but not always as forthcoming as they could be: only after checking out did I learn from another traveller that there's a rooftop vantage point where you can get a great photograph of the two tusks that cross Moi Avenue.

    Hotel service was good

The room accommodation,no towels on first day,had to ask for towels, safe lock in the room was closed and cannot be used, balcony door have no lock, wash room have no soap to wash hand and no separation when bathing, meaning water from bath place spreading to hand wash place

While the central location is convenient, it does not make up for the lack of peace and quiet. Unless you’re planning to party until dawn, I would not recommend this hotel.

The hotel is sandwiched between two nightclubs that blared loud music until 4 a.m. every night! The noise level was unbearable, and I barely slept during my stay.

Breakfast was exceptional I think was the reason we agreed to extend our stay with one more day without any regrets..the receptionist also gave us a warm welcome and swiftly responded to our call..we will surely be back at Sheraton

Our fridge had spillage.. there was also open drainage which occasionally was smelly and quite frankly was uncomfortable

Breakfast was awesome.Something new on the menu daily. But I wish you would offer meals.

The hotel was next to a club.So very noisy

Consider other options – a disappointing stay

International tourists: think twice before booking this hotelWe booked this hotel because we were arriving in Mombasa on a night train from Nairobi and needed a place with 24-hour reception. Unfortunately, our experience was deeply disappointing. First, the reception was strange, with staff that felt unprofessional. At 5:30 AM, barely an hour after wehad checked into our room, we were woken up by a call telling me I needed to move to another room because they had checked me into the wrong one.Trying to sleep after that (and even before) was impossible. The club next door made noise all morning, and there was constant noise in the hallways. To make matters worse, the door locks in the hotel were broken, which added to my sense of insecurity. The room itself was filthy and poorly maintained.Breakfast was poorly prepared, however, the staff there was genuinely kind and polite ;) Additionally, this hotel misleads guests by using "TT" in its name to appear affiliated with the Sheraton brand. Be cautious and consider other options!

Inexpensive with rooftop pool. Good restaurant next door.

Front desk staff was cold and acted annoyed, could use hospitality training. Facility is old and could use maintenance.

    7KayizziPosted on: 10-15-2024

I liked the hospitality of the staff.I liked the location which is central to all I wanted.I liked the bar and restaurant just next to the hotel

The breakfast didn't have a variety like what I expected

    Loud music down stairs

    9VilitaPosted on: 9-17-2024

The breakfast was great . And the swimming pool was refreshing after a long day. The AC was a change from the normal temperatures outside the room. The rooms were clean and also spacious.

The location was a bit inaccessible especially when going to the beach .

    Good location, good services.

When booking they had agreed for an early check-in but on arrival they said that it was not possible.

    1mikePosted on: 8-16-2024

    The breakfast

No hot water no comforter on the b e only a sheet and next to a club so music ? all night

Great location especially for business ,easy to book thanks to booking.com .

    Room service

    1EdnaPosted on: 7-18-2024

We check in and checked right back out because the hotel was cramped, unkept with bunk beds and lizards in the room. The curtain also had blood stains on them and the front desk had to keep your room key.
