Reception not reactive, services slow, noisy from everywhere

Disappointing

Price: high for that location & poor furnitures;Food: my stomach reacted whit some food gotten there.

No breakfast, the hotel is comfortable in a convenient location, my only criticism is thay need to highlight the hotel rules clearly, I had a disagreement with the management, but now it's completely ok ,but in general, now ok

It was good. The staff were good.

There was no AC in the room, and it was quite small. Although it was a good deal for the price I paid.

I had a great stay here. I want to thank Faith from the reception. She is very friendly, welcoming and helpful. Hotel has great securityman (with the red cap). Great spacious room for great price. Best location in Mtwapa as well.

Overall the place was nice, the beach was nice, the pool was nice and the rooms were nice.

When my wife checked in she was told that she could not have a friend visit her without paying extra for the room, was charge -double- because of this, and given a 'discount' to retain the preexisting agreed room. I had booked the room with dinner but it was not included after this and we were charged more than the cost of booking the exact same room with two people (dinner included).They also apparently refuse to allow you to bring outside food and drinks into the hotel at all, even to your room. The hotel was very nice but their policies and attitude greatly detracted from the overall experience. When I commented to them through booking I was ignored and there was no attempt even to explain their unreasonable decisions.

Staff were extremely friendly. The place was absolutely clean. The food was great.

The neighbourhood is quite noisy

The reception was great, great staff. The rooms were clean. The breakfast was great with fresh fruits and some variety. The pool was clean with a vibrant pool games coach.

Could do better with timely provisions in the room,had to remind the staff to provide water, towels. I got assistance from the hotel to unlock My room door, should check the doors.

I really had a great time with my mum and daughter. Thanks for the early check-in and the wonderful breakfast.

There should a lifeguard at the pool

They did not inform me that their charges were less than what was quoted on the website.So I ended up paying more yet they knew. They should have informed me before. I found that to be very exploitative. Their foods and breakfast are just basic. Nothing out of the ordinary.

The staff was exploitative by choosing not to inform me about the current rates. Their breakfast was not so good. Just simple. A lot of dust in the room too.

The location was convenient and easily accessible from the main road.

All meals were a la carte. No buffet options.

The following are my own personal opinions and what i didn't like another person would have no problem with and vice versa. The location was good for me in the centre of Mtwapa on the main road. The reception staff, the cleaners and security were all very friendly. The way the maids made the beds was fantastic. The apartment was clean but the apartment was old and looked it but did NOT cause any problems. My room was a one bedroom apartment on the 4th floor, no lift, looking out to the pool area. Good secure area to park the car. Unfortunately my visit was in Covid times and everywhere closed at 9pm and the curfew started at 10pm

The early morning noise. Because my apartment overlooked the pool area and was in a quadrangle the noise amplified itself and echoed. The hotel routine starts around 6am and the TV is on in the dining area and of course the conversation that is going on. The cleaners on my landing are getting everything ready for the morning duties, mopping the floors etc. There was one evening at 11:30pm i had to shout down to the pool area for the people to make less noise but have to say that was only on one occasion. This is something you have to accept
