No Wifi at all in room even in the bar The bar is not inviting, no interest to have meals or drink Noise at night The door can't close, lock properly The toilet, shower is dirty. Shower head is dirty and rusty! Water is weak for shower

The location can't be beat.

The cleanliness of the restaurant needed improvement.

It's authentic, and you feel at home. Very ecological place to stay. Those who want to experience an authentic experience, I highly recommend this place. Also, it's good for vegans and vegetarians. The beach is very close to the resort.

Sometimes, you do not get hot water for showers.

We loved the environment, nature, the concept of a green lodge, the hand-made furniture and decorations. It was clean, rustic, felt natural and different from the typical hotel. The staff and owner were very attentive, extremely nice and welcoming.

The whole property is quite good… with the African native vibe to it… and it’s a beachfront facility as well

Comfortable, air conditioned rooms. Small but nice pool, really good value food that tasted great.

Pool and sun bed area could get very busy.

for all those looking for a real genuine Kenyan place, respecting environment, offering great comfort, and stunning location on the beach, Ziwa is the best choice on Nyali coast !! of course, some few details are different from international "comfort standards" ... and that's not what I personally does expect from a hotel in these conditions breakfast is also great! and the vegetarian restaurant

nothing "essential"

We spent 4 nights at Ziwa Beach Resort and had a very good experience. Main reason to choose this accommodation was the proximity to the diving center and it proved a very good choice, We loved the feeling of the place, the room was comfortable and clean, good internet, nice and helpful staff. Lovely views from the restaurant terrasse.

Fantastic ocean view from our room as well as the restaurant/lounge area. Also only place on the beach serving Bila Shaka (craft) beer ;)

The restaurant could be significantly improved.

the bathroom sinks in one of the rooms was not draining properly, ran out of breakfast food like eggs a twice during the stay and took a while to refill

The structure of the place is beautiful! I love the ecological measures and that they just serve amazing local and western vegetarian food. The staff are all super nice. Specially the girls in the restaurant.

- The room had a very veeeery strong smell of tabaco and it was impregnated in the bed sheets too. I arrived at night so I turned the AC on to be able to sleep with that smell… not ideal. - The toilet was not super clean either with spots around the toilet ball and the floor around the shower still wet. Overall the place didn’t give me the impression of being very hygienic. - Other guests arrived to the room next door who I was sharing the terrace with in the middle of the night and the person showing them around was very noisy when He showed the terrace and turned all the light on! (thing that woke me up…)

Water splashing beyond the shower curtain rail. could improve that by inserting a 0ne inch raised barrier directly beow the shower curtain.

The late arrival was awkward, due to airline changing flights. The receptionist wasn’t expecting us.

The location only

The staff were very rude, they said our room didn't exist and didn't attend to the sink leaking for 24 hrs. They didn't give us hot water for 24hrsThey lost our room key after cleaning and didn't know where it was, when asked we were told it's not up to them and they don't care where it is.

the staff were very nice most helpful with a smile the changed my room because of a problem with WiFi. also my luggage never arrived on the flight but the manager was keeping me informed about where it was it didn't arrive in mombasa six days after I arrived but that had nothing to do with the hotel

the shower could be a bit more pressure and a little hotter
