I liked the location with lake view from my room.

Hotel is old, maybe old style? Compared with the price that was way too much

Brilliant location - the views from my room were amazing!

It’s a bit tired - but very clean. The receptionist was lovely and very helpful. It’s just a pity that she was left to run the whole place especially at breakfast! Too much to do with a large group like ours and not fair on her! Breakfast starting at 8.30am is too late, even if it is the weekend.

Perfect location with a good breakfast. Best lake view from dining as well as from the bedroom. Free buffet dinner was the cherry on the cake ?.

Staff seems very busy inside. Its hard to find them actually to ask some questions.

Great views and a nice bar/restaurant area. Gigantic taxitermied bear next to the front desk :D

The rooms felt a bit dated. The breakfast was poor value for money. Staff was not very friendly, e.g. when we went to a bar to order a cocktail the bartender barely spoke. The room was quite dark.

Location, view, easy access from train and village, amenities, gym

The room was very comfortable and clean. Lots of parking space. A very nice restaurant with great view and good food

The breakfast was not very pleasent. Overcooked (green) eggs, dried up cheese and ham. We had to Ask for bread.

Out very late arrival & check-in was no problem at all. Parking in front of the hotel. Breakfast was good, with cereals and hot dishes etc.

The lady on reception was great, very helpful with a wonderful sense of humour, told us everything we needed know about location of the room and times for food service.Our room was clean and comfortable with a fantastic view. The hotel had plenty of facilities, pool, gym wonderful views from the restaurant and terrace.There was a very good choice for evening meals and a great choice at breakfast.I would definitely use this hotel again if in the area.Plenty of free parking.

Everything was good

Everything looks quite old. The Spa is very small and not so clean.

It was quiet, clean and comfortable. The hotel is old and in the process of renovation. The window opens for fresh air but that air is limited by the heavy blockout curtain. There was free parking onsite. The second level room is perfectly acceptable for a short stopover.

We were given a ground floor room near the renovations. There was no fridge. After some serious discussions I was able to persuade the staff to move us to a better room with a fridge, away from the renovations. The hotel has seen better days but management appear to be addressing these issues with room renovations. The staff could be friendlier and more helpful. Their jobs depend on customer service.

Did not like working through Booking; prefer working directly with the hotel; when making simply a one day change in our reservation which I knew was okay with the hotel, Booking added an extra charge for the change.

Great view of the lake from my room in the 3rd floor. Fairly easy to reach on foot from the rail station. Breakfast, lunch and dinner were all good and reasonably priced by swedish standards.

Staff could have been a little more welcoming. I was simply asked my name and then handed a set of keys with no further information provided.

I had been promised a breakfast-box second morning, due to early departure, but never got one. Thats my only complaint.
