Clarion Hotel Grand Ostersund

The rooms were comfortable, the staff are super friendly and helpful, the breakfast is epic and the location is perfect.

It was all good and as expected

Initially the room we were booked into wasn’t clean . The receptionist immediately apologised and upgraded us for the trouble .

Nothing . It was very busy due to Skandic motor event but I liked it . Very handy hotel for the airport f

Very good as always.

Saturday evening the restaurant wasn’t open as they were closing Sunday after breakfast and that was a bit disappointing.

We likes the room, the lobby, the breakfast. In general we are very happy with our choice. Recommended!

Very good breakfast, I highly recommend the pesto toast. The personnel was very accommodating when arranging a room where pets are allowed when we had booked an ordinairy one by mistake.

Excellent breakfast

I tried to contact the hotel several times by telephone to find out about parking which was not clear on the website and there was never any reply.

breakfast amazing, location perfect

the cleanliness

Clean, modern, good breakfast, friendly staff

Gym facilities to open earlier

Nice room, helpful staff, good location for the train.

Full breakfast wasn’t available until 7:30.

The food was good, both dinner and breakfast

There corridors are so narrow that getting past trollies was difficult/impossible when sitting in a small electric wheelchairA lot of furniture in a 18 sq m room left minimal manouvvering space for a wheelchairThere was no coffee creamer/milk nor tea in the room

Everything. It was truly dog friendly with a bed and a bowl available in the room. Possibility to take dog from another entrance to avoid crowds which we did

Indoor parking available, rooms were comfortable, reception staff were friendly

Restaurant menu had limited choice and most of the staff were ok but service could gave been better given the number of them.To get to the hotel sat nav put us across the bridge and back when we could have turned left and crossed over...the car park entrance is before the hotel one so you have to go round the block again....would have been easier if Car park signage was clearer

Perfect location, near everything. Nice lounge and staff .

Nice staff, good restaurant. Very helpful regarding dietary requirements.Good pillows.

First room was very hot, so we changed room.Carpark is expensive. It was not possible to pre-book the outside carpark (even though there seemed to be spaces)They didn't let us know the pool or restaurant hrs on arrival.

Very good

Lack of air conditioning! It was a warm day and traffic outside made it impossible to have the windows open.

Breakfast was outstanding & staff were very helpful

Our toilet clogged causing sewage to come up into the shower & sink. We had to move to another room at 11pm as it smelled awful. The rooms were also very warm so we had to request a fan. Our rooms were located by the busy road which was also quite noisy all night long.Ceiling paint was peeling off wall & bottom of door was ripped up.

Hotel is located in the center of the city. Room is clean, bright and well furnished. Bathroom is equipped with good skincare products. Breakfast is delicious and varied. It was nice to find coffee and small croissants on the reception for all guests.

It was very stuffy in the room

A very good choice while staying in Östersund, great location, very friendly and helpful staff and one of the best breakfast buffets I have had. I would love to come back to the Clarion Hotel Grand Östersund

The beds was perfec. Not to soft just perfect to sleep in. Bathroom was amazing.

It was a bot cold in the room. To cold.

Nice room with quite big and comy beds. Breakfast selection was good, everything tasted well. Staff was friendly and helpful. Location is a big plus.

The only thing to make it better, would be to have a shuttle service to the airport.
