Frösö Park Hotel

Great, very clean hotel with a fantastic breakfasts with never ending choices. Children liked the games prepared for guests in the lobby. We were happy of the stay and recommend for both short and longer stays.

Our room was spacious and perfectly clean. Breakfast was really good with all varieties of food from smoothies to salmon

We were on a road trip.First of all we chose this hotel because of its Spa, but when we came we found out that it was already closed (5 pm on Sunday). It was closed on Monday morning too.Dinner in the restaurant wasn't satisfying as well. There're just 5 positions in the main menu. Two of them are burgers, Cesar salad, pork and I don't remember the last one, but no fish, no beef. So if you want to eat some hot food you should choose among burgers and pork. So we had to take a car and go back to the city to eat. We didn't plan that because we traveled with two kinds (1,5 and 3y o) and we expected to relax without going anywhere for some time. The climate comfort system in our room didn't let us heat the room for more than 23⁰ so our kids were cold in the evening (we usually do 25⁰). On the other hand it was impossible to open any window so in the morning we all starved for some fresh air. Ventilation is really bad, air quality is like when you travel by ferry. Not acceptable for the hotel.The last thing we didn't like here is the staff. They are very kind in general but also so cold and distanced. Nothing was suggested to us instead of a closed spa. Nothing was suggested to us instead of a restaurant. No smile to kids. The next day of our stay (check out day) it was my birthday. No postcard even no "Happy birthday!" at reception, when my husband mentioned that. Everyone was formally polite that's it. I won't say that our stay was bad, but for this price you receive the way better service in Stockholm or any other place we've been to.

The spa, the location, breakfast..

Stylish atmosphere. Early and good breakfast. Nice views all around. Wide beds with lots of pillows.

SPA not discounted when booking a room. Ventilation in rooms is poor - CO2 1200ppm.

Lovely staff that was friendly and helpful, good food and comfy beds.

Spa and food

No cleaning every day or forgotten cleaning, no kids zone with books/toys more work leisure oriented

The best parts of the hotel are: a. The gym, very complete and big, b. The rooms, spacious and with the basics.

Unfortunately, the takeaway breakfast (as we departured very early) was kind of poor. Also, the airport is around 5 km away from the hotel so a taxi is needed (as the hotel doesn't offer a transfer service).

Position, staff, room, services

Since the airport is 5 minute away by car and taxis are expensive, a shuttle bus servce would be ideal

Everything was really good. Superb breakfast. Room basic but very comfortable.

Top end prices are not completely justified. For these prices I would expect the same service but in a central location of a major capital city or some extra services.

Parking but not chargers for electrical cars

I expected a view from the hotel either the room or restaurant and got neither you had to strain to see the sea. Was disappointed that you had to go to bar to order food. No ice machine. Booked for 1 night and meant to book 2 nights; didn’t stay second night as was so dissatisfied moved on to another hotel. Expensive hotel that is overrated

Extremely comfortable beds! Very generous and delicious breakfast buffet. Lots of parking space.

Numerous staff were exceptional and provided high quality level of service. Beautiful and accessible nature that are in walking distance of the hotel.

Noises from other guests in corridors and adjacent rooms can be heard at late hours at night between 1 and 3 am. The toilet placement is higher than usual so if you are not vertically inclined it might be uncomfortable.

The staff were friendly and helpful. Very comfortable beds. Different saunas in the spa. Delicious breakfast with large variety of foods. A stunning view.

The lights in the bathroom flickered from time to time. The Screen Mirroring function didn't work and in the evening YouTube started lagging. There are no actual (deep) pools in the spa, they're more like big baths.
