Quality Hotel Grand Steinkjer

Disappointed.

We specifically booked and paid extra for a superior double room. Specifically booked a room with a double bed NOT two single beds joined together. We kept falling inbetween them and they slid around the floor. The bathroom was very cold and only the next morning the underfloor heating came on in the bathroom. There was only cold water in the shower in the evening. Only warm water in the morning. We also looked forward to ordering room service as listed on the site but they only had buffet food in the dining room. No dinner menu. We had to go out for food insted as we did not want bufet when we first go to a hotel we wanted restaurant meal standard. We also wanted breakfast as room service but this was not available either.

Parking facilities not very convenient. Noise rooms and isolation really bad if you are looking for rest this will be a annoying place to stay.

The room was disappointing. The carpets were stained, the furniture was outdated and worn, and there was a musty odor. The bathroom was not properly cleaned, with mold in the shower and grime on the tiles. Additionally, the bedding did not appear to be fresh, making for an uncomfortable night's sleep.

Very medium hotel but ok. Old but big rooms. Good location in nice town.

Very old hotel and you can easily see it everywhere. Looks like hotel in Poland during communism time ;-)

Close to shops and easy to find

It was very hot in the bathroom due to underfloor heating left on with the door closed, which just happened to coincde with one of the hottest days of the year. There were 2 fans in the room which helped slightly

Breakfast was good and the room was nice.

Carpets were dirty. There were no "frills" like tea, coffee and water in the rooms. The rear of the hotel looked cheaply built and different from the front.

The breakfast was excellent. The room was relatively clean.

However, the hotel was quite old and not renovated so the halls were quite stinky with the old tapistry.
