Best Western Tingvold Park Hotel

Quaint and beautiful building, with a lot of charm and history in the walls. The room was spacious and comfortable, nicely decorated and with the amenities I needed to do my work: large desk with good lighting and ample outlets. Nice to have a mini fridge too, where I could keep some juice and soda, fruit and snacks. Also, the (free) waffles are amazing! Batter, toppings and waffle maker in the lobby, also at the breakfast buffet!

The most amazing breakfast buffet - a feast with so many wonderful items! Also, an excellent evening buffet included in the price. Comfortable room, bed, large patio with views, quiet, nice staff who were able to save me some food, as I arrived after 21:30 when buffet closes.

Parking spaces - no available ones, but they allowed me to park in the electric carr slots, as a few of these were empty.A step between the room and bathroom - watch it, so you don't trip

Convenient to the E6 and in a quiet area. Our room was comfortable, the staff were all nice and helpful, and it came in handy that it is walkable to some grocery stores to re-stock during our road trip. Dinner and breakfast were welcome inclusions and the food was great (mind-blowingly good compared to U.S. Best Westerns, lol). The adjacent "Steinsetting" site was an interesting historical bonus. It's not the fanciest property, but was well kept and perfectly acceptable for our purposes.

Small nit, but being transparent it's a historic building, and some parts have aged better than others. The elevator was acting up on our visit so needed to use the stairs here and there, but I doubt that's a regular occurrence.

The staff were very helpfull and nice, the place was nice.

The bed was little uncomfortable

Conveniently placed hotel with buffet dinner and breakfast for an easy overnight stay. More of a business hotel than a holiday stay but perfect for a one night stay as everything on site and plenty of parking.

Warm welcome fron Ben on reception. Well done to the cleaning team, the room was spotless. The chef came out into the dining room and chatted with us. He created some very nice dishes. Free tea and coffee in the corridors. Easy check out. Great parking.

One miserable young lady in the restaurant. If the job doesn't suit move on. The rest of the restaurant staff were friendly. A toaster would be an advantage.Cooler bedrooms.

Everything was great and dinner and breakfast included was an added extra for us. They went out of their way to make a couple of vegan meals as well.

Very comfortable hotel, I would strongly recommend it. It serves a wonderful dinner and breakfast buffet. In the afternoon, you can make your own waffles and lounge in the small park. Free parking at the entrance.

Dinner buffet was good, free coffee

Got a small room (single bed) although I had booked a much bigger room (double bed + single bed). Had to argue to get the room I had booked. The next room had a wall and plants in front of the window, so darkness in the room - even had to turn on the lights during the day. Did not feel comfortable at all.The bathroom is in need of renovation.

Unfortunately, the walls and ceilings are very thin and without any soundproofing, so you can really hear every noise from the neighboring rooms (you can hear people talking, you can hear every step in the rooms above you (loud and clear), you can hear the TVs, the sounds of the smartphones (like notification alarms, etc.) and unfortunately you can even hear the toilet going, not to mention the loud slamming doors).Since the main purpose of a hotel is, in my opinion, to provide a space where you can rest and sleep well, the hotel does not even begin to meet the most important requirement of a hotel. This is the reason why I would definitely not come back.

We enjoyed a very good evening meal and a fantastic breakfast. Our room was spacious and the bed was very comfortable. Parking space in abundance.

The bathroom could have been cleaned a bit better. There were stains and hair on the bathroom floor.

Comfortable room, good facilities. Breakfast is amazing compared to the other hotels with similar price. The EV charging station is right in front of the hotel, so nice!

It also includes dinner for free, though need to be careful since they charge extra money for drinks!
