Scandic Rock City

The breakfast had a variety of meal choices for a good balanced diet. It tasted delicious.

We had a little problem with locking our room door. The technique was a little different from what I`m used to. We spent only a night. Other than having a little problem with locking our room door, we enjoyed our stay.

I have booked a king size superior room but they gave me a normal room and charged me the same amount like the superior. They didn’t even asked me if I want to change room.

Fabulous decor and room layout, very comfortable we arm and cosy. Great bathroom, great view and wonderful food in the restaurant. Easy parking and central location. Nothing to dislike.

Location is good, right next to the Rock & Roll museum. The food was all right, but I expected more at this price point.Rooms were quite spacious, with a great view.

Rock City should be more than a name and a few posters on the wall. In the restaurant the staff seemed completely uninterested in us, and the short wait for the food was because they didn't cook it properly.It was the most expensive hotel we stayed at, and felt like the cheapest.

Very friendly front staff that called me when the room was available for check-in. Also very helpful when we were booking the room and needed an extra bed in the room. Room was very nice, clean, spacious and with good view. Our family had different opinion about breakfast. Most of my family had cooked breakfast which they thought were of poor quality - the fried egg were really hard and stale, like candy jelly. The pancakes did not taste homemade and the waffles were hard. I on the other hand, had a cold selection and really enjoyed the variety and quality of the food.

The spare bed they brought in were really uncomfortable.

The hotel is located nicely at the waterfront and offers great views. The breakfast was amazing and I had the whole buffet to myself. Comfy beds and a nice bathroom.

Very welcoming receptionist and friendly staff in the breakfast room. Great seeview, free parking clean room and nice breakfast.

Just one side of the bed has 2 plug ins. An extra plug in at the other side would be nice. But that is just nit picking. And I know it's Scandic Rock. But I like my breakfast a bit less loud in music.

The fact that I ordered a room with late check out and was surprised by the housekeeping lady in the middle of sleeping.

New and stylish hotel.

We booked a family room, and had to set up the 3rd bed ourselves. The room got very crowded. I expected a family room being a bit larger, this was just a standard room.
