The pool was clean

Limited menu options for half board, staff not mindful of the food order placed and overall the rooms did not meet expectations as per photos shared. The prices charged do not meet the value or expecation of a resort.

Amazing staff . Was served by Jessica in the restaurant. Lovely , friendly and very helpful staff who go above and beyond to make you feel special.Excellent food .Though there was no buffet due to less guest , the set menu was excellent and everything was made fresh and was very delicious. The nepali chef prepared superb meals . Food and alchol is very affordable.

Rooms Needs renovation. Pool was unserviceable.

Location. Dinner was good.

Furniture is very old, lighting is poor, my son got injured due to tree root cut improperly and above the ground with no proper light.

The place is good.. very relaxing.the facility is better than the other hotel in stone town....the staff is very helpful ☺️

The thing that we don't like booking.com state we don't pay any extra charge..but when we arrive they tell we need to pay 94$ for extra charge... booking.com and the hotel need to talk about it so that the guest never surprised..

Setting, location and upper room with veranda were lovely.

Upon arrival wifi not working, and promised fridge in the room not present. It took several tries, until the next day to sort out the issues. The most worrisome issue though was the hotel not providing promised free transport to the airport despite having provided transport to the hotel upon arrival and despite me confirming the same three times.

The pool was great. Very clean, and the views of the ocean were wonderful

The room was large; the couch was made from concrete and covered by a thin mattress. It was rigid and uncomfortable. The furniture is old, the gardens are completely unkempt and disordered. ALL their furniture is so old, it looks like it was placed in the 80s.

The room and the staff were nice. Also, the pool was good.

In general, the property could use some investment and an uplift. There was only the one restaurant open and nothing at all in terms of entertainment.

Breakfast was fine and but had to pay extra as it was not clear to us that breakfast was not included in spite paying high price

If prices are inclusive of breakfast and taxes but the service by the staff was excellent

Disappointing

The service was a bit poor for that hotel standard. The restaurant is a breeding spot for mosquitos. There was not water coming in the bathroom on one morning. Official hotel taxis are a rip off. Hotel is quite far from Stone Town and there is nothing around like restaurants etc....It was very difficult to get normal priced taxi or transport getting out of the place (double cost as compares to common fares coming back from Stone Town)

there is nothing that i like about your resort they took my $50 usd they said i came early before check in time yet i send them a special request that i will be arriving early before your check in time they replied but upon my arrival they asked for a $100 then i gave them the next morning they called me and said will give you $50 nd will take $50 the food was bad the room was smelling they need to stop using that premise if they cant renovate it to mordern standardson my booking i note that there was supposed to be a car that was going to ferry me from airport to the resort and back to the airport but nothing like thst happened nd i was not refunded again when i was checking out the receptionist asked for $8 usd tax fee yet i paid $16usd for taxi on my check in and he delayed me called other workmates who were at the reception the day i arrived nd the third one confirmed that i paid your services are poor???

the services

I only stayed at this hotel for a few hours while waiting for an evening flight and it was perfect for the purpose, although showing a few signs of age. The rooms are large and the air conditioning was effective and the pool is huge. The staff were exemplary in bringing towels and arranging sunbeds and umbrellas. It is only a very short drive to the airport, so I would recommend it to anyone in the same situation. It enabled me to have a swim, a siesta and a very long shower before facing the ordeal of an overnight flight. Not the cheapest solution to the problem of being hotel-less for a day, but I very good one. They were very helpful in arranging an early check-in, possibly because the hotel seemed very quiet.

It all felt a bit tired and there was a bit of a trek to get to the rooms but otherwise it was great.

Disappointing

Attitude of staff and not understanding the simple situation of booking two rooms with twin beds and not adding the corresponding number of guests.How difficult is that to comprehend???

The pool area is nice and it backs onto the beach with a beautiful view. It’s peaceful and very relaxing. Not too far from stone town either

It’s very, very tired. Back when the British ruled Zanzibar this place would’ve been great. However, it looks like it hasn’t been maintained since then. Due to there being very few customers, they let local teenagers come and use the pools. It’s absolute chaos and not relaxing at all, with 40-50 teenagers running around like crazy. That is more suited to a leisure centre, not a hotel where we just wanted to relax after 7 days of hiking Kilimanjaro. Several of our group didn’t have working toilets and showers either and the staff didn’t seem to bothered about trying to sort this out

People staff efficient curtious .just lovely.

The food was awful ate twice each time spent alot of time on the toiletWe traveled into stone town to eat each dsy.
