Cons -
- The hotel is sometimes used for events and they can be very noisy. They had one wedding and the party lasted until 3:00AM, there was no consideration for the guests. I could not sleep that night, I complained about it but it didn't work.

A little far from the city center.
Everything, employes very nice with the customers the place very clean beds are very clean and confortable, lovely sauna, and the pool so clean.
They had an amazing breakfast buffet. I also had lunch inthe restaurant and is was very good
The location was rather boring. Nothing near by except homes.
Outside city center and perfect for archeological site visits
The hotel is a bit dated
Everything was awesome! I loved the balcony looking over the pool, the spa, and room service. All staff were nice and helpful. Jesus cleaned our room nicely every day and even left a special plate of dessert for us for July 4th. I will be coming back the next time I’m in Trujillo.
The facility was a little outdated for a 5 star hotel.
Staff was friendly and loved the llamas. It was also clean and the outdoors were very well mantained
It was a bit dated, roof was leaking in the breakfast room over some food.
Looks like a small resort, it’s clean and rooms have a nice view. Loved the llamas. Staff is polite
The hotel is a bit dated, AC makes a loud noise
Location great, comfortable clean room with good shower. Wonderful breakfast, good coffee and staff very friendly and helpful. Good sized swimming pool and the gym is sufficient but could do with a bit updating.
It is worth bearing in mind that this is a popular family hotel which can make it challenging for using the pool and sometimes noisy at nighttime.
Great breakfast, nice room and pleasant staff. Freed, one of the servers at the restaurant was a charmer. We also liked the llamas.
Terrible access road
The pool, sauna and sport facilities are good. The breakfast is perfect. There is enough to chose, in different food.Lunch and dinner is good as well. The service is very good.
The entrance took a long time 50 minutes, with 2 persons in front, as there was only one person to handle this.We had a big bug in the bed, as I mostly check this in warm countries, this can happen. On calling the reception, promptly the sheets were changed. The next day the complete room was cleaned.
Freed and Christian were the only redeeming qualities of this resort. They went above and beyond, all without any expectations of something in return.
The staff, in general, seems to treat guests differently based on ethnicity and perceived economic standing. The staff was often short, annoyed and unhelpful. It appears they were unable to handle a large volume of guests without it negatively affecting them.Through overheard conversations it came to our attention that the staff is unable to accept tips because management will check the cameras and confiscate their tips. So we were concerned about giving any, despite there being some staff that deserved it.The resort does not even have a commissary area. If you want a drink, snacks, hygiene products, medicine, or anything else you had to leave the resort and venture into a very unsafe city. Even the smallest of hotels and motels has these items. This resort did not.The one and only place to find food, was incredibly expensive in comparison to the price of the resort itself. The cost to add guests for the day, even if for a few hours, is the same price as a full room overnight. Many of the guests were vocal about the skin color of other guests, and their disgust with how darker skinned kids were playing with lighter skinned children. This type of atmosphere seems to be supported by the resort. All in all, our experience was not what we had expected from a Wyndham Resort. It felt more like a minimally stocked country club where they only allow everyone to come because they are required to do so.
Facilities and breakfast
Food and drinks at night were expensive
Very nice hotel with green areas and pool.Good restaurant in the hotelFriendly staff
Noisy in the weekends. Also can hear other guests
The room is big and spacious and clean too.
The hotel location is a little far from town - Plaza de Armas. Hence there is nothing much to do around the hotel vicinity.
The staff at the bar are very helpful and attentive.
The staff at reception were very poorly trained, zero attention to detail. We complained about the first room we were given due to a horrible sewer smell, they immediately changed us to another room which was closer to the kitchen and you could hear all the noise from the kitchen including blasting music. The receptionist was informed that we are traveling with a small child ( 2 year old) yet they didn't even think about even giving us an extra towel for her in the room. Additionally the wing where the new room was, had to undergo improvements as they were repairing the wall, which made it very loud and made it impossible for our child to sleep. On top of that, the fridge in our room didn't work, I complained at reception and they told me is not supposed to be cold but to keep the drinks cool, however I had another room reserved for my parents and the fridge was working fine in their room... They proceeded to tell me they would send someone to check and nobody ever arrived. It is a problem when there are 30 degrees outside and we need milk for our child and no cooling facilities in a 5 star hotel. The last point is the restaurant were completely overwhelmed for both breakfast and dinner, breakfast was nice but missing key things all the time. They told me they run out of cheese and onion, trays constantly empty and tables not ready for new guests. In one occasion I had to set up and clean the table myself as we were waiting for 20 minutes and had not been approached by a single waiter. In my desperation I wrote to the hotel manager hoping some kind of understanding and give them the possibility to improve the experience but completely ignored me and no response has been given to date. What I can say is, this was extremely disappointing, I certainly won't be taking my family to this chain again and I hope the feedback above is used to improve the experience for other guests.
The room had very comfortable bed and AC. It also includes a welcome drink (pisco sour, lemonade or water) and the spa is amazing! Massages and the pool were the highlight.
The walls are on the thinner side so it's easy to hear people in the halls/next door.
Very nice facility and restaurant was amazing
My room smelled like cat urine. It was a strong smell near the bed
the restauarant is good and the pisco sours are excelent, nice hotel with a feeling to be at a resort with the nice pool in the centre, the parking lot is big enough and is close to the rooms
