Novotel BH Savassi

Location is good, rooms have been refurbished recently.

Overpriced. You pay more than 200 dollars for a room and you don’t even get complimentary water.

Comfy room and bed; amazing breakfast

Very slow reception. No cleaning on day 2; asked for towels at least, they said they’d deliver it but didn’t.

Great room with nice amenities. Amazing view and great location.

Staff was helpful, but could be more polite.

Location and staff friendly. The breakfast was great.

Bathroom needs cleaning as it had mould.

Accommodations are well kept. Good breakfast. Central location.

Parking system could be better. May take a while depending on the time of the day.

The breakfast was fabulous, many kinds of food and juices. The room was very modern and the showers were great. The staff is very helpful and sympathetic.

Loud noises late at night and early in the morning woke me up.The price really didn't match my expectations. The gym doesn't have a lot of options and the machine had a maintenance problem with loose screws. The valet services are mandatory and force you to leave your car making it hard if you have to get your stuff.

The breakfast was amazing! Different fresh fruit every day and a chef made us personal omelettes and tapioca. The room was comfortable, quiet and with a great view. We also loved the slide down to reception.

Great location, near Savassi and with a nice selection of shops, bars and restaurants within walking distance. Room was spacious and comfortable, with good soundproofing. Very nice shower, good water pressure. Front desk was well manned and staff were polite and very helpful.

Very nice rooms, clean and Savassi is a safe, nice area in BH.

I incountered a few times issues because personell was not speaking English. Nothing that I was not able to handle with Google translate but at least at the reception I think some basic English would be good.

Location

Inattentive staff that doesn’t pick up the phone. Room service is a catastrophe, takes forever and they bring the food through the elevators uncovered. The gym isn’t well cleaned

Modern updated room, rainfall shower, comfortable bed, great location

The size of the room and location were perfect

They did not have a coffee maker in the bedroom, which for this price is unacceptable, and the noise from the street was very loud, I could not sleep untif 4:00 in the morning.

The location and cleanliness

Some staff at the restaurant. Some excellent, some really bad!

Property is nice and clean excellent location

No assistance with luggage, and if you ask they say they are not allowed to touch guests luggage. Although I stayed for 3 nights there was no housekeeping . One of the days they showed up at 7PM and stated they had a busy day. I will not stay there again.

Excellently situated hotel right in the heart of Savassi across the street from tons of bars and restaurants. Nice facilities, rooms are spacious, modern and clean (love the rain shower head), big comfy bed. Great breakfast, get it! Friendly staff.

Everything was great.

Breakfast was great and service was fast in supplying things. Staff was very cordial and friendly. The shower was nice and we had higher floor.

The room was fine but a little noisy - we had to change rooms as in the first we had very loud and noisy guests that did not let we sleep in the first night. We also missed cleaning service at rooms - we expected that by staying 3 nights at least one night we would have fresh towels, trash collected and bed made but there was nothing at all. There was body lotion in the shower instead of hair conditioner. We also had to ask several times for extra blanks and when we arrived none of the rooms was prepared for three guests and we had to ask for all blankets, towels and amenities for our kid.

Great hotel in a nice neighborhood. Lots of things to do in the area. Great breakfast selection.

Hotel has no included parking. The parking is shared with the Ibis next door.

Accommodations are ok.Location is greatCheck in was super slow. So slow that I had to leave the documents and luggage and depart to my appointment and then go back later to finish the check in and get the luggage. It seems that system (Opera) was running very slow.

check in Booking (at booking.com) was a little misleading. I thought breakfast was included and it wasn't.

Great location however marked down as very noisy on street side

Noisy at night, needed earplugs

Location

1st room the wall was peeling of and full of mold.S3cond room was not cleaned at all. Third one the key was not working and I had to go back to the reception again.Only when the manager took over it worked out.As compensation I got ONE EXTRA TEA BAG.Breakfast is super nice but very expensive and cannot be included in your bill but has to be paid immediately.
